On our first wash, the dishes did not come out as clean as we expected and there's much water residing on the bottom of the glasses and cups that was inverted upside down as specified by the manual. Moreover, food particles still visible in certain items, despite being rinsed almost clean prior to putting in dishwasher. On our second wash, we had tried different powder balls with separate rinsing agent. That too leaves food particles and still not dry(contrary to the specs.I reread the manual many times, thinking that I must have fell into the same pitfall like many others, regarding the proper setting to make it run efficiently. I still couldn't make it to perform effiently. After we've unloaded the 3rd wash, still not fully clean, let alone dry. We've decided to put in our 4th load, you guess right, it's not responding again. Just in case you're curious or your from Electrolux reading this review, I did try to pop the circuit breaker to the entire house, waited 10-30 seconds,power back on, that still did not work. I waited till i got off work, this time, I was not so lucky. It's still not responding. I gave up and contacted support. They advised me the same thing I had read about in the manual to troubleshoot. Ultimately, they suggest that I make an appointment to have a technician come out and FIX it. That's a bit too much for me to comprehend. I kindly informed the gal at support, no thanks. I will drive this back to sears and will swap out for a kitchen aid brand. Hopefully, kitchen aid will come through for me. It's been very frustrating, but just wanted to clarify that this problem has nothing to do with Sears. They are not a the manufacturer. They've sold me an item that's new in the box, but just a bit disappointed that I knowingly about the negative reviews and still decided to go against it. I regret it very much or maybe it's just my luck. By the way, just in case that some readers are skeptical about whether I actually owned the wave touch dishwasher, I had taken pictures of the error messages and i'm confident that support had logged in my calls. We had someone come out (on Electrolux's dime) and they found some of the hose clamps were not sufficiently tightened from the factory. After the tech tightened them up, we haven't had the same problem since. However, it was very disconcerting to learn that it was a problem with the dishwasher as delivered.The second problem we were having was with very loud noises during the drain cycle. We had a tech come out (again on Electrolux's dime) only to find that there was a grape stem in the drain pump. The tech said he had seen this happen because the filter at the bottom of the tub isn't suffiently tight enough to block items such as grape stems from entering into the dishwasher's plumbing system. Another troubling discovery. I called up Electrolux. I cannot recommend the Electrolux dishwasher. It looks great, cleans very well, but the build quality is very lacking.ProfessionalMom Initially, I thought this was the greatest dishwasher ever. It was completely silent and it washed my dishes well. However, after only 4 months of owning it, my nightmare started. The washer simply stopped working. Posted 9 years ago.The dishwasher is very pretty and has aweome features but in regards to cleaning not good at all. Also my old dishwasher was 53 dba and honestly I could not tell the difference between the sound quality. I wanted to give this dishwasher a chance but my Bosch never left me with a dirty dish. And finally it went dead after first time I used it. Did not want to deal with the Electrolux service, returned it the next day, I have Electrolux fridge and after 3 months had one service visit and have a feeling that another one is coming. So I would not suggest to take any chance on this one or any Electrolux products, stick to GE they are always more reliable. Things Are Not Always What They Seem. Donnieh As stated in the brochure this dishwasher is quiet, it cleans well and thats the only good things. It stinks from mildew everytime you open the door. Best Buy and Electrolux says you have to keep the door open all the time to prevent the smell from the internal moisture build up.
