Adjust the brake sensitivity if needed.https://www.protravelnetwork.com/akram/know_news/admin/userfiles/datavideo-dac-15-manual.xml Only ride at a speed that the conditions permit, for example, slow down on snowy or rainy days. If you are not able to see clearly with a light, do not attempt to ride your bike. The controller, motor and other electrical devices may be short-circuited, causing damage and creating possible dangerous situations. Keep the charger away from water to avoid short circuit. Don’t even use it in a dampening, combustible or explosive environment. Do not remove the plug by pulling the cord, always grip the charging port by its metal body. However, we removed the front wheel and some other small parts when packing. You can install them very easily as shown below. Insert the front axle into the front wheel. Firstly, unfold the quick release and put the handlebar and stem into the frame. Ensure that the stem and the handlebars are in line. Tighten the screw. To minimize the risk of injury, it’s vital to ensure they are correctly adjusted. Ensure that the wheels rotate freely without rubbing on the disk brakes, but they still stop the wheel when the breaks are applied. Squeeze brakes to test the responsiveness, and confirm they are working properly The left pedal (marked “L”) should be fitted on the left-hand crank and tightened firmly anticlockwise but not excessively as the crank threads are made of aluminium alloy. Use a 15mm spanner. Tighten clamps and ensure the seat is firmly fastened. Keep the charger in a dry and ventilated condition when it’s working. The chargers indicator light will turn on, which means it’s charging.Usually, it will take about 4-6 hours to recharge the battery depending on the batteries state of charge. However, it’s a good idea to let it charge for an additional 2 hours after the light has turned green if it’s convenient for you, as it will extend the service life of the battery. After the light turns GREEN, the charger is in the state of trickle electric current and will fill slowly to attempt to maintain the state of charge.http://www.raumboerse-luzern.ch/mieten/boss-dd-6-manual-0 If you are going to be out for a long time, you should disconnect the charger, especially in hot weather. Please always keep the charger dry and clean. The electronics inside contain high voltages, so never disassemble the charger by yourself. Do not let the charger charge the battery or be left connected for a long time, as it may damage the charger and cause a fire. Do not put anything on top of the charger when use, and prevent any liquid, metal or metal fillings from coming into contact with the charger. You should lift the saddle with the lever that is underneath it, which will enable you to remove the battery. Before you do this, you will have to unlock the battery with the ignition key. When you finish charging, replace the battery. To replace the battery, insert the battery along with the slide bracket and then lock the battery with the ignition key. The charging connector poles cannot be touched with any metal or any other material that conducts electricity, otherwise, it may cause a short circuit. This will ensure the battery life. DO NOT use in the state of low battery capacity. Do not leave your battery in a fully discharged state for long periods of time. The battery will continue to self-discharge, resulting in damage. If a plug or socket gets wet, dry it completely before using. However, it’s a good idea to charge the battery for an additional 2 hours after the light turns green if it’s convenient for you (It is good for the service life of the battery). Never charge for more than 10 hours to avoid overcharging and damaging the battery. You can then press the “A” or “C” button to adjust the level of electronic assistance. The levels range from “1” to “5”. When the level is set to “5” the assistance is highest, and the speed of the bike is highest. The LCD display will turn off. Make sure the quick releases are locked and all lock nuts and screws are tightened.http://hilalbaskul.com/images/6-speed-manual-gearbox-02s.pdf Put one foot on the pedal and do a final check to see that everything is okay and working well, especially the breaks. Start pedalling, and when you reach a certain speed, the motor will automatically be activated and start to move your bike. To stop the bicycle motor, just stop pedalling and the motor will stop automatically. To bring the vehicle to a halt, use the brake. If either of the brake levers are pulled, the power will be cut off automatically and the motor will not work. When this occurs, turn OFF the power switch and only use the pedals to ride, without the assistance of the motor. You will have to charge the battery when you get to an electrical outlet and will be able to use the electric motor again once the unit is fully charged. The power switch should be turned “OFF” when pushing so that you don’t start up the motor by accident. Use a chain lock to further secure your bicycle when necessary. Whilst the pin is all the way up, fold the bike with a free hand. Always keep your bike clean. For the battery poles, when dirty, clean them top prevent reduced efficiency or burnt poles. Your E-Bike should undergo an annual check-up. This will keep it in good working condition. If the chain is too tight, adjust the bolts using counter-clockwise rotation. Keep the crank gear and wheel gear aligned. If you are not experienced or confident, contact a bike specialist. It is important for the brakes to work correctly and that the electric cut-off devices to be in working order (Electric cable to the brake levers). If you find anything wrong, please go to a bicycle specialist or contact Fortis. Use a cloth to avoid short-circuiting any electrical components. Your electric bike has a durable finish and does not need to be waxed. Clean with a mild detergent and buff to restore its original shine if needed. Red lights should illuminate to confirm the bike is turned on. You can charge the battery either in the bike or you can take it out of the bike and charge where it is most convenient. If possible, charge for an additional 2-3 hours to fully balance the battery. DO NOT leave the charger plugged into the outlet for long periods of time unattended. Always charge the bike in a dry and clean place. Keep the charger dry and clean. The rear light switch is located on the back light. On the first use, you will need to remove the plastic insulation strip. The front light runs off the main battery, and the rear light uses 2 x AA batteries. If you hear any irregular noises from the wheels or brakes, they should be checked and adjusted. The wheels should rotate smoothly without wobbling from side to side. It should continue to spin for several turns after you stop spinning the wheel. The motorised wheel will not spin as freely as the non-motorised wheel. To check the play of the hubs, try to move the rim from side to side between the forks. No substantial play should exist. If you detect play, or if the wheel is difficult to turn, please have a local bike shop look at your bike to have it serviced. About the same tension should be on all the spokes. If there is some minor loosening of the spokes, you may tighten the nipples, but it is recommended that you take it to a bicycle mechanic for proper adjustment. DO NOT ride with loose spokes. Riding with loose spokes may cause the wheel to fail. Make sure the tyres are properly inflated every time you ride your bike. Improper tyre pressure will make riding difficult, cause excessive tyre wear and cause premature failure of the tyres. If the inner tube is pinched between the tyre and the rim, it may cause the tyre to fail. Make sure the tyres are not cracked or unevenly worn. Check for bulges. Check the valve stem and make sure it is straight in the rim. Irregular tyres should be replaced. Wet weather may hinder the brake performance. You may need more distance to safely stop in the rain or on a wet or icy road. There is a locking key to lock the battery on your bike to discourage theft. If you suspect your battery is not working properly, you can test it with an inexpensive voltage meter. If you get a zero voltage reading then check and replace the fuse. If not, try the walk-assist throttle Repeat 2 times We offer a 2-year warranty. The 2nd year of the warranty is reliant on the bike being returned to us for any necessary repair. Lots of people say: 'We live 300 miles away. What happens if we buy a bike from you by mail order and it goes wrong?' Firstly, problems are rare. Two types of problem can happen. The first are exactly the same mechanical problems that would occur on a standard bike: punctures, broken spokes, broken brake cables. Many of our customers are 'good with bikes' or have a friendly relative or neighbour able to deal with these things. We are happy to liaise with them and send out a part if needed. If you've always gone to a bike shop to get these things done, however, there's no reason why you couldn't do the same with an electric bike. The second type of problem is to do with electrics. The throttle or pedal assist could stop working, the motor cut out or there is suddenly no power at all. Fear not! Many electrical repairs are surprisingly straight forward. Electrical breakdowns are far less common than mechanical ones. And if an electrical fault can't be resolved, we will collect your bike, repair it and return it to you, all within 3 days. We normally respond to email queries within an hour or two on weekdays. Manuals. Some contain a built-in cooler to store breast milk after you pump. Wet bag. If you aren’t able to wash your pump parts right away, you can store them in a wet bag to avoid getting breast milk elsewhere. Just make sure to wash the parts before your next pump session. Insulated cooler bag. Having an insulated cooler bag on hand can help you to safely transport milk. You can also use these to store expressed milk if you don’t have access to a refrigerator, if you’re pumping on the go. It’s also a good idea to have spare pumping parts on hand in case you lose or break a part. You can keep spare parts in your office or car so that you have a backup if you forget to bring all of your parts with you. Can you use a breast pump to induce labor. A breast pump may help induce labor by increasing the amount of oxytocin in the body. This may help you relax and start uterine contractions. But studies are limited showing the efficacy of using a breast pump to induce labor. Always talk to your doctor before trying any induction techniques at home. Inducing labor may not be safe in certain circumstances. Takeaway It may take a while to get the hang of using a breast pump. Be sure to read the manual and follow all instructions carefully. If you’re having trouble pumping or using your breast pump, a lactation consultant can help. They are also extremely useful if you have very limited time, as they are quicker than manual ones. Some electric pumps are now surprisingly light, so you may also want to take this into account. It is small enough to be popped into your handbag or changing bag when out and about too; not to mention that it can be powered by a micro USB cable plugged into a power ban or mains adapter too. You may find it takes some time to master the best rhythm for you, but, with a little practice, this will come. You can easily attach the Breastmilk Collector with a slight squeeze on the suction while feeding from the opposite breast, leaving your hands free to hold your baby comfortably. The biggest advantage is that your baby can benefit from your milk when you're not around. A simple electric breast pump can make it easy for you. Bear in mind it's best to wait until you've established breastfeeding, once your baby is about six weeks, before offering your baby a bottle. Some mums find they’re successful with one type of pump and not with others. If you buy one and it doesn’t work for you, don’t assume you can’t express, you may get on much better with a different model of breast pump. You may also be able to get a refund on the one that hasn’t worked for you, especially if you return it within a month of buying it because it’s not fit for purpose or it’s faulty. Why use an electric breast pump. Electric breast pumps express your milk quickly and require less effort to use than manual breast pumps. Unlike a manual pump, once the cup is in place on your breast, the work is automatically done for you, at a pace that you preset. This saves you from aching hands or difficult-to-maintain pumping patterns. If you want to express often, maybe because you're returning to work or you're feeding twins, an electric breast pump allows you to extract more milk in less time. Most electric breast pumps are mains-operated, but battery-powered pumps are also available for expressing milk when you’re not near a plug socket. They are also more noisy than manual pumps. What are the pros and cons of electric breast pumps? Pros: More baby videos What features should you look for. An adjustable vacuum, which allows you to express in comfort. An electric breast pump sucking more times per minute (known as the cycling time) than a manual pump. A model that allows you to pump both breasts at once, which will cut pumping time by half. Double-pumping also boosts milk production by emptying both breasts. This is useful if you need to express for more than one feed. A model that's easy to use, easy to clean and easy to assemble. To make it easier to carry around, look for one that comes with a case. What's the best electric breast pump for me. Take a look at our Parents' Picks top five breast pumps. I tried other pumps before, but I could only manage to express a small amount and was really starting to panic about starting work. The double pump has been a life-saver. My electric double pump is great, really powerful. It has these funny straps that you can attach to your bra to make them hands-free, but I just stick the funnels in my bra. You started by manually pumping and then it continued automatically, mimicking your rhythm. The problem is I didn't know the most effective rhythm to start with. I found getting going a hassle. The cheaper pumps tend to regulate the speed but not the suction. It can be battery-operated, mains-operated and hand-operated. You may think the hand-operated one is a little pointless, but the battery-powered pump does seem to burn up batteries. I bought an electric pump. It was very noisy and I felt as if the whole office could hear me expressing. I then got a mini-electric pump, which was also too loud. Embarrassed by the noise, I got a manual breast pump that is very quiet. You can set your own pace and it's also easy to clean as it doesn't have any fiddly tubes. My pump had a silicone sleeve that felt gentle on my sore and inflamed breast, and it was easy to express while massaging.
