E3100 if you prefer balanced and higher quality sound, more focused on music X600 if you want power, prefer gaming and movies Jejari, like what acedriver said, it depends on your preference. However there's one point I would like to give note. It performs better in many areas compared to the e3100. The bass is more powerful, better defined, and it performs fairly for vocals too. Whereas e3100 is heavily suitable for only music; movies and gaming it's below par I would say. The only sad thing is, the treble can't be controlled using the X600, as well as the design isn't too pleasing to some. Good enough that you can clearly hear the difference in quality between even good quality MP3s and uncompressed CD Audio or FLAC. Bass could not go very low, the useable range would be around 65Hz and up. Probably due to the small drivers used. From then up, the speakers were very good. The cabinets are nice and rigid, they do not vibrate even at higher volumes. No boominess whatsoever. You definitely need to get a sub to pair with the S2000 for maximum eargasm. Once again take note that i have been spoiled by the rather good bass on the Klipsch Ultras. I'm very sure i would have been much more impressed if not for the Edifier showroom's terrible acoustics. It's small, and there's not enough sound dampening so certain frequencies resonate and distort the otherwise pleasant listening experience. More sound absorbing material on the walls would do wonders for the S2000's perceived sound. Also, that noisy air conditioning vent can be heard from 10 miles away The S2000 is definitely worth a look if you are into sound quality. All that needs to be finalized now is the price. That will be the ultimate deciding factor. If the sub is available separately, would be awesome to pair it with S2000, provided it is active. We prefer to produce something good in sound quality then the design. That y, alot people will say the look of Edifier is very out date. So, we decided to come out M series. M series is a independant series which start fr the Low end to high end. That looks like dual midrange drivers to me on the M-Series 5.1 and 2.1. This driver r better then our old S2.1 or S5.1 driver. Even it is small but powerful. Real wood sats with tweeter. What's the current best 2.1 analog speakers. BTW Is M series better or S series better? We will launch our new batch of e2100 MKII after the Chinese new year. The bass effect will be the same as the e3100. And he did bougt it from MyPC. Actually, AlamakLor had suggested me to get a Emu(too expensive). Actually, AlamakLor had suggested me to get a Emu(too expensive). Try at bulk. Daijoubu make bulk for soundcard Chaintech AV710 for RM100 only.The speaker works fine but i accidentally broke the wire. The wire is connecting the PC and the sub woofer, One end(green) to the PC soundcard slot and the other end diverge into two heads(red and white) to the back of subwoofer. Due to my pc fall down and the green head bend too much until broke into two parts. One side of the head still remain in the soundcard slot and cannot be removed. And since then, the satellite speaker only work on either side but not both.(Depends on i plug the red head into which slot behind the woofer). But it doesnt sound at all if i test on other PC because it's head are too short.And also the soundcard is onboard one(integrated soundcard). So what should i do since other speaker cannot fully inserted into the slot(remeber there is still one part stuck inside). Other working speaker tested also sounded on either satellite speaker only. Issit ok if i just buy a PCI soundcard to replace it.Having another one soundcard will them crash with each other.Just show ur old cable to them, the price shud be arround RM10.
