eddie bauer pack and play instruction manualThe Eddie Bauer Complete Care Play Yard includes a bassinet, changing pad and play area, and requires only a screwdriver for assembly. The center of the yard should remain popped up. Grasp the short top rails and pull them up until they click into place. Repeat to click the longer rails into place. Use the hook and latch loops at each corner to attach the mattress to the base of the play yard. Confirm it's firmly attached before proceeding. Two adjacent corners have holes to accommodate the changing station. Locate these holes along one of the short sides of the play yard. Push until they click and lock into place. Look for the holes along two corners of the play yard designed to accommodate these connectors. Insert the tray connector bars into these holes until they click and lock. Use the hook and loop straps on the mattress to hold the mattress in the folded position. Secure the hook and loop patches between the clips to fasten it in place. Lift and slide them together to connect and give the bassinet structural support. Use the hook and loop connectors to attach it at each corner, making sure it's firmly attached at each corner. Position the hanger assembly so that the slots align with the tabs on the mobile head. Press the hanger onto the head to lock it into place. Replace the cover and replace the screws. Discontinue use of changing station and bassinet when child reaches a weight of 15 pounds or is able to push up to hands and knees. Never place more than 3 pounds in the parent tray. Remove the mobile when baby is able to push up onto hands and knees. Ensure all components are locked and fastened securely before placing a child in the play yard. That play yard must be fully assembled, with side rails locked in place, before use. Do not use this product if you find any loose or missing components or broken or torn parts. So many of the 1-2 star reviews mentioned receiving their purchase smelling of mold, the sleeping pad smelling of chemicals, and of the pad being so hard that it was like their baby were sleeping upon a piece of plywood. After reading all of this I checked a few different review websites for the pack n play and after 2 days of long research I decided upon this model. I figured if I did receive this and it smelled moldy, or in any way not comfortable and safe for my son I'd just send it back. After a super fast delivery I opened up the box and took a whiff before even taking it out and, Yay, no smell at all. Second thing I noticed was that it was very well packaged. It came in the right color with all of it's parts and pieces. After a brief look at the instructions I started setup. It was extremely easy to unfold and put together. As I put the pad in the top bassinet part I noticed that it was well padded, unlike some of the other reviews described it. The only reason I put a sheet over it is because it is brand new and I can't wash it. It is extremely sturdy and the wheels on it make it super easy to move around which I love. Another plus is the little arch with the Stars on it is super cute, and the Stars come off and you can easily attach your own toys to it using the little plastic rings you can buy on the stores. Overall this is a fantastic product for a great price. Thank you Gracco! There is no parts replacement for this product because I went on line to check based on model number and manufacture date. Setup of the Graco brand is a cinch and is the deal breaker. It feels secure and is easy and intuitive. Setup takes seconds. I decided to buy a pack n play for work and to use for going on vacation. I wasn't looking for one with all the bells and whistles (storage, vibrations, music, etc.), I just needed something that would allow my son to nap and in the future, turn into a play pen. The Graco Pack n Play On the Go Travel is exactly what I was looking for. It looks nice and is extremely easy to set up and disassemble. When setting up, you simply push down on the center piece and then lock the top frames. If you're using it as a bassinet, then you insert metal supports into a mesh canopy and then clip it onto the frame. Once that's installed you place the mattress down and voila. You're done. To disassemble, you remove the bassinet section and then press on the lock buttons for each frame to collapse, then pull the red tag over the center piece and it collapses and folds down. Once collapsed and folded, you wrap the mattress around it, fasten the velco straps and put it inside the cover for easy travel. The mobile fits if you place it inside the cover (don't try stuffing it in with the frame). The mattress isn't very thick, maybe half an inch or so. I thought it would be too hard for my son compared to his crib but he doesn't seem to mind. One thing you absolutely want to order in addition to this Pack n Play is at least one sheet. The mattress pad the child sleeps on is a bit stiff however so we typically place a small blanket folded up underneath of it to add some softness while not having to worry about the child getting tangled up in this blanket while sleeping. This model also comes with a bassinet attachement that staps onto the top rail so that you don't have to place your newborn at the bottom of this crib. I did notice it was harder to pack everything up with the bassinet in but it still worked. The hardest part was figuring where to put the metal support rods. I ended up putting those on the pad before I put the rest of the pack n play in. The only thing I noticed that was kind of annoying (I also only noticed when I was in the same room as my son) was the rubbing sound the pack n play makes when my baby moved. If you aren't used to using one, it can be a little tricky to get it to work. It likes a flat surface, which means if you are wearing it and it ends up curling over your pants, it won't register steps. The best place to put it is close to the side of your preferred leg (Left handed, left leg, vice versa) If your clothing is a bit tight, it might make this harder to work. Pedometers are trial and error. Different people need to place them in different locations to get them to work right, but starting off with the side, away from the stomach (unless you've got washboard abs) is a good place to start.
