You could have it built in but it wont be fully integrated Like Report Lorraine asked 5 years ago EBM4300SCRH (430L, Stainless Steel, Right door) Frozen food such as frozen bananas and bread had started to defrost in the freezer compartment. Ice and other goods were still frozen. The freezer door was also damp. I removed all food products and had a technician review freezer. They were unable to find an obvious cause. His advice was to observe over a period of at least 7 days. I have placed hard frozen strawberries in the freezer, which although have remained frozen, they have not remained clumped together in a block. Ice-cream and ice appears to have remained frozen. Can you advise on what the problem may be. We purchased from Harvey Norman and have an extended warranty. Like Share More 2 answers Palindrome 5 years ago Hi Lorraine, If the freezer is keeping ice i would say its operating fine. If the door seal is worn or the door isn't closed correctly (plastic draw not fully in) you will notice a change.http://www.soojuspilt.ee/files/crown-service-manual.xml This change would effect all food stuffs in the compartment. I would say the strawberries were snap frozen and as the freezer operates at a much lower temp they have come apart, still remaining frozen. Any further issue just get the technician back in and use your extended warranty: ) Like Report Lorraine 5 years ago Thankyou that was most helpful. It seems the door may be sagging on the hinges. Is there a DIY adjustment on the door like most other brands as I can't see one. Like Share More 1 answer Palindrome 5 years ago Honestly, its probably best to replace the hinges. Like Share More 1 answer Palindrome 5 years ago Try and download a manual from a google search first. The trays just slide out and the bins need to be rolled OUT, lifted UP and then out to come of the rail. Be very careful when taking the door covers off as to not snap the plastic tabs. On the left side cover, gently pull the LEFT tab over the hinge and pull the cover out. Do the same on the right cover gently pull the RIGHT tab over the hinge and pull the cover out. The reason for this is that the hinge on those sides are made smaller so the plastic tab can move over it. If you pull on the other side it will break. Any suggestions? Like Share More 2 answers Pat 5 years ago I think you'll need to get a service technician out. However the chap who checked my fridge advised me not to set the thermostat to the lowest setting but to keep the dials midway because it won't operate optimally unless you do so. If the condenser coils are dirty, they won’t dissipate the heat effectively. As debris builds up on the coils, the refrigerator becomes less efficient, causing the refrigerator to work harder to cool down. If the coils are significantly dirty, the refrigerator will not be able to maintain the proper temperature. Check the condenser coils to determine if they are dirty—if the condenser coils are dirty, clean them. 02 - Condenser Fan Motor The condenser fan motor draws air though the condenser coils and over the compressor. If the condenser fan motor is not working properly, the refrigerator won’t cool properly. To determine if the fan motor is defective, first check the fan blade for obstructions. Next, try turning the fan motor blade by hand. If the blade does not spin freely, replace the condenser fan motor. If no obstructions are present and the fan blade spins freely, use a multimeter to test the fan motor for continuity. If. the condenser fan motor does not have continuity, replace it.Some refrigerators have more than one evaporator fan motor. On refrigerators with only one evaporator, the evaporator is located in the freezer compartment. If the evaporator fan is not working, it will not circulate the cold air to the refrigerator compartment. If this occurs, the freezer may still get cold, while the refrigerator will not get cold. Additionally, if the motor is unusually noisy, replace it. Finally, if the motor does not run at all, use a multimeter to test the motor windings for continuity. If the windings do not have continuity, replace the evaporator fan motor. If the start relay is defective, the compressor may sometimes fail to run or may not run at all. As a result, the refrigerator will not be cold enough. To determine if the start relay is defective, use a multimeter to test it for continuity between the run and start terminal sockets.
