Un DivX5 pe care il aveam la 2900kbps a fost redat perfect, chiar daca vechiul meu Athlon la 1GHz nu-i facea fata. Calitatea imaginii pe un televizor bun este net superioare celei obtinute cui o placa video cu TV-out, oricat de buna ar fi ea. Poate reda fisierele in ordine aleatoare, se pot crea playlist-uri (cel putin meniul permite teoretic, chiar daca eu personal nu am reusit inca). L-am incercat doar pe iesirea digitala, unde calitatea audio a fost buna. Ca puncte slabe (comparativ cu E-Boda), nu poate reda fisiere MPEG2 de pe suport CD ci doar de pe suport DVD (unitate DVD de viteza mai mica?!?!), numele fisierelor este trunchiat la 12 caractere astfel incat dacai ai mai multe fisiere MP3 care au primele 12 caractere identice, sunt afisate cu acelasi nume. Nu am testat partea de subtitrari pentru ca (spre rusinea mea) am aflat ceva mai tarziu cum se foloseste si eram convins ca versiunea respectiva de firmware nu le suporta. Acum cateva intrebari pentru posesorii de E-Boda: - poate reda fisiere MPEG2 (la calitate DVD) de pe suport CD (miniDVD) ? - numele fisierelor sunt afisate in mod unic, chiar daca trunchiate? - este adevarat ca nu poate reda MP3 in ordine aleatoare. Multumesc anticipat pentru raspunsuri Am un DV-555x si in general sunt f. multumit, cu mici exceptii (nu le repet, au fost postate pe aici). In ce priveste intrebarile tale: 1) Numele de fisiere sunt limitate la primele 14 caractere 2) Poate reda orice lista de fisiere (mp3, jpg, avi etc. ) in ordine aleatoare; asta se poate aplica directorului curent sau intregului disc 3) Nu stiu daca se poate face playlist pt.Folosind alb, devine ceva mai vizibil, dar cu niste limitari dupa mine total inacceptabile: - singurele formate de subtitrari pe care le-a acceptat au fost: SRT si SSA, ambele afisate in acelasi mod indiferent de continutul header-ului de la cele SSA. NU a redat nici un format de SUB din care am incercat, adica: MicroDVD, SAMI, SUBVIEW. Afisarea se face pe maxim doua randuri care accepta un numar redus de caractere, restul fiind trunchiate. Eu am creat un CD de test cu o secventa AVI de 1min si cu ceva text (multe caractere, multe linii, diacritice, etc.) O sa postez curand ceva poze cu ceea ce apare pe un PC (cu VobSub) si ce apare pe E-Boda. Este o diferenta de la cer la pamant. Practic in acest moment functia de subtitrare de la E-Boda este extrem de primitiva si aproape inutilizabila (ma poate contrazice cineva cu aregumente?). E-Boda are meniurile mult mai rapide si mai complexe, dar nu afiseaza decat fisierele suportate (cu exceptia fisierelor cu subtitrari, care nu sunt afisate deloc). Artech-ul afiseaza absolut toate fisierele. Soft-ul de la E-Boda (in versiunea curenta) este mai stabil decat cel de la Artech. Nu am reusit sa-l blochez niciodata, pe cand la Artech s-a blocat de mai multe ori pe durata testelor. Cam atat pe moment. O sa revin cu amanunte pe masura ce voi extinde testele. Am constatat cu stupoare ca la Carrefour pretul a 'saltat' tot la 6999000 lei, la fel ca in celelalte magazine (unde in paranteza fiind spus au cam disparut). Am fost imediat la sediul Rosal pentru un update, unde mi s-a spus ca deja instalata ultima versiune de firmware. Dupa ce am avut ocazia sa ma joc putin cu Artech-ul, pot spune ca E-Boda nu mi-a facut o impresie prea placuta pe ansamblu. Amm probat de toate pe el, si pot sa spun ca sunt super incintat. L-am luat de la Altex. Am fost cu 10 cd-uri la ei si am prbat de toate, dvd, filme inscriptionate de mine, mp3, poze, si alte alea. Intr-adevar, fura niste litere la subtitrare, dar nu e o prblema majora. Sefu de tura de la altex mi-a zis: hai sa-ti arat si o scula ca lumea, cu divx, un philips la 19 bulioane. L-a facut de ris e-boda. Subtitrarea la philipsu ala de 19 bulioane pornea de la mijlocu ecranului si aparea ba pe sus, ba pe jos, ba pe la mijloc, ce mai, ii era rusine si angajatului de la Al;tex. In legatura cu mp3-urile, vreau sa va spun ca ia melodiile aleatoriu, iam pus io un cd cu 200 melodii si mia luat in ordinea 24-187-31-56-62 etc La 7.000.000 cit costa pot sa zic ca face destule. Plus ca la philips sa blocat cd-ul cu mp3-uri. Prietenu meu cu care am fost si lam luat isi ia astzi si el un e-boda si un inscriptor de dvd-uri, asa ca mam scos beton. No mai lungiti atita pe formu asta, e-boda asta isi merita banii. N-am incercat altceva decit junghiu ala de philips la 19 bulioane, sa fim seriosi, ala ramine pe stoc in magazin. Am vazut si in revista chip facut un test de dvd playere, si e-boda 555 era pe locu 2, dupa kiss, dar kisssu ala costa 634 euroi. Orice probleme sor ivi la e-boda asta, sa fim seriosi, romanu le rezolva pe toate, la cit de inventivi suntem. Hai sa-l stapinesc sanatos si sa auzim numai de bine Bafta tutlol. Problema DTS-ului se poate rezolva doar datorita lui MTZ si, in general, cam toate problemele mai importante se pot rezolva printr-un upgrade facut de MTZ, caruia trebuie sa-i multumim si sa-i tot multumim (si tot nu e indeajuns). Am doua intrebari si daca cineva ar putea sa-mi raspunda, as fi foarte fericit: 1. Exista vre-un upgrade care sa poata rezolva problema reglarii manuale a basilor si inaltelor pentru DVX 777 USB sau este o imposibilitate tehnica? 2. Care sunt punctele negative ale lui 555 Plus comparativ cu 555 X? Multumesc anticipat pentru orice raspuns. Mesaj pentru MTZ: sa-ti dea Dumnezeu sanatate, pentru ca pasiunea ta a dat posibilitatea celor care-si cumpara un E-Boda sa exploateze aparatul la nivele superioare. Am un 555X cu upgrade de la tine (de care sunt mai mult decat multumit), n-am avut niciodata probleme, numai ca in ultimile doua luni a inceput sa-mi faca mici intreruperi aleatorii de imagine si sunet, semn probabil ca dupa niste ani de exploatare ar dori sa fie schimbat. In rest, mii de multumiri pentru tot ce faci. Poate imi spune si mie cineva cum imi pot da seama de acest lucru. Concluzia ar fi ca are o buba din fabricatie. Spuneti-mi, va rog, ce sa fac in cazul aratat. Si, pe viitor, ce stick imi recomandati sa folosesc, cu ce capacitate si grad de compatibilitate. In cazul in care as conecta prin USB un hard extern, ce sa iau si cum trebuie formatat. Sau nu se merita? E unul din putinele forumuri de gen cu informatii pertinente si la zi. Este primul meu post aici si recunosc ca nu am citit tot ceea ce s-a postat (sint 80 de pagini !!!!) de aceea exista poate posibilitatea ca cineva sa fi pus aceeasi problema care ma intereseaza. Caut de ceva timp un dvd player care sa citeasca pe linga formatele standard sau mai putin standard si formatul DVD-A (dvd audio). Intrebarea mea este daca a mai facut cineva asemenea incercari si daca nativ din fabrica player-ul stie sa citeasca acest format (chiar daca in manual nu este specificat asa ceva) sau e un accident. Totodata as vrea sa stiu daca update-urile lui MTZ distrug sau pastreaza aceasta optiune (de a citi DVD-A). Si m-ar mai interesa daca stie cumva sa decodeze sunet MLP. Multumesc. P.S. Daca cumva am fost neclar va rog sa-mi spuneti. Va rog mult sa mi spuneti daca o sa am imagine de la e-boda pe acest monitor. I own the machine and can’t offer any more troubleshooting then what you have done, good job of that. I found more info from the MAH3000 manual on the technical operation of the motor controller (slightly different controller). Both machines use the same troubleshooting paths. Remove JP4 which is; P1 Motor Control common P2 Torque (to Motor Controller) see page 1-11 MAH3000 P3 Motor Control Tach (to control board input) My WAG is replace the Motor Controller 1st, then Control board 2nd and a possible tach issue related to the motor.Take a look at pages 2-5 thru 2-11, I keyed in on page 2-11 in the MAH3000, it may give you some additional insight, I know we are dealing with different machine designs but I think the designs are close regarding motor controller, the motor and what the Control Board is doing and looking for with input from the Motor Controller. There is a nice little troubleshooting table on 2-11. I keyed in on this note; The motor control monitors the signals and communicates this information to the machine control (control board). The purpose of this signal is to tell the motor when to energize each winding in the motor and to tell the machine control the actual motor speed. I don’t believe you have that condition. I have worked with a forum member who had an issue with the motor controller related to an Lr error, locked rotor error and replacing the Motor Controller fixed the issue. Form here I vote for an issue with the Motor Controller. Not having known good parts makes this a difficult job. The control board is under warranty for 5 yrs from DOP, the Control Board is 2 yrs. Ebay is a good source 25001079 I would push Maytag CSV for both. I got them to send me a Control Board after discussing my troubleshooting and that I had a neighbor (me) that was a repair tech who would install. I also had to send them copy of my warranty not sure why they beeded that my machine was on file with them. In your console you will find a Troubleshooting guide if you haven’t pulled it out already. There is a small thermostat on the blower housing that usually goes bad and presents the situation listed. Login to post Watch this VIDEO First I've loaded it with disc and observe the movement of the optical lens and the spindle motor. First thing I've noticed that the spindle motor didn't oscillate upon spinning and it's spin slowly unlike the normal RPM. I've suspected the spindle motor was already bad but still to be confirm. Unscrew the disc holder plate from the assembly to keep away the magnet touching the spindle motor, this may affect the reading and spinning of the motor upon testing with the multimeter. This is how it looks like after removing the disc plate holder in the assembly. Spindle motor is secured with 2 small screws in the lens assembly. Pull-out the connectors from the main board to see the underside of the tray. You may test the spindle motor with your multimeter set in resistance measurement ( ohms X1 ) even connected to the small board. Bad motor will read either less than 5ohms(shorted winding) or infinity (open winding) and will not spin. Good motor will read more than 50 ohms(depends the size) and will spin upon testing. Watch this VIDEO. Onced you've confirmed that the motor was already faulty, unscrew it from the lens assembly. Replaced the spindle motor with new one. Before you install the new motor make sure that the clearance of the disc holder is the same as the old one. Compare first the clearance because if it is to high the optical lens will not read the disc same if it is to low. After replacing the motor re-insert all the connectors to the main board. I've load same disc which does not read a while ago and observe what will happen. Observe the disc and the sound oscillation from the spindle motor in this VIDEO. If power is present, but no movement from the little motor, then you're probably looking at replacing the selector mechnism. If no power on the mechanism, then you will have to do some visual wire tracing (with power removed from the machine) to determine where the discontinuity is. Bear in mind that once the washing machine is opened for measurement, you will be exposed to live mains power. You are liable for your own safety. Mine was secured by some plastic tabs and one screw. I found the powered, bottom part of the disc holder had a rubber torroid (like a flat rubber band) glued to it that relies on friction to spin the disc. It was filthy, and needed manual cleaning. Having a Masters in Electrical Engineering, I used the appropriate tools to clean it, my finger and some spit. I put everything back together and it works great. I'll keep an eye on the problem in the event that the motor is actually going bad, but I find that usually, things just need a cleaning to work as they are supposed to. When the unit power on, I can hear the motor trying to start, but the DVD does not spin. Being the adventurous type, I opened the case and turned the DVD drive motor a few revolutions by hand and then the dvd played. I think I need a new DVD drive motor.
