Bob Wierman 5.0 out of 5 stars It comes with one battery and a USB charger. Flight time is about 7 minutes on the single battery, and recharging time is 30-40 minutes. Do the math. If you want to fly for more than about 7 minutes without an extended break, you need at least 3 or 4 batteries and a means of charging more than one at a time. The Celectra 4-Port 1S 3.7V 0.3A DC Li-Po Charger fits this need perfectly. I've had it for a few weeks now, using it almost daily, and it's performed perfectly. It's simple to use - virtually idiot-proof. When you insert a battery to be charged, a corresponding red LED illuminates. As each battery nears its fully-charged state, the LED begins to blink. The blink rate slows and eventually stops, with the LED no longer illuminated, when the battery is fully charged. Each port allows the battery to be inserted in only one possible direction, so you can't get it wrong. Perfect: it's so simple, even I can use it. The only quibble I originally had was because I failed to realize that it doesn't come with a power supply. It operates on either 4 D cells or an optional AC adapter. In retrospect, this is perfectly reasonable, as some users will want one or the other, although many will want both. Neither option is expensive, but it's good to know in advance.I had gotten into micro rc and loved it and wanted to fly for an extended period of time. I bough this with the wall charger as well. After about 3 weeks I started noticing the batteries would not charge with the wall adapter plugged in. The other thing I noticed is that the battery light would stay lit after I unplugged the battery. The batteries would charge with D batteries; however the D batteries do not last very long. Once the D batteries became weak it would stop charging the batteries. The charge light will come on however when you remove the battery it stays lit. That is how I can tell if the D batteries are losing their cell. I will not directly mention any chargers by name brand but one in particular that is very superior to this one starts with an H and ends with a T. I still have not found a charger that use non-rechargable batteries for ease of use at the field. Ultimately you are better off using an adapter that can plugin to your car battery. The other extreme weak point of this unit is that it does not give you an type of gauge of the voltage charge that is left in your battery. It may not seem like it, but this is really a must have feature for a decent charger. I may end up sending the charger back to E-flite, but honestly I have moved on from this product. It's too bad they don't put more effort into making a solid 1 cell charger because there are not very many decent 1 cell chargers on the market.OK suspend common sense for a moment and instead consider standing at the flying field and realizing you are flying the last battery. If you fly 1S Horizon Hobby kits.It could be better if it could fit the bigger batteries as well like the 2S for my UMX Pitts. Now you find yourself messing around with the little USB charger. Do yourself a big favor and get a Celectra charger. For a few bucks more you have true portability and enough charging ability for any mission. If you have four batteries then you can just keep on flying. The time it takes to charge a battery is about the same as the run time of the other three, so you have unlimited battery power. In the winter, our RC club gets the high school gymnasium for some indoor flying. Having this capability makes for a no hassle flight session. Highly recommended !!This will charge 4 at a time so it will definitely save you some time. What I didn't know was that you need to use D batteries if you didn't buy the AC to 6VDC 1.5 amp power adapter. This made it a pretty heavy multi charger but it was nice to have it when not close to an electrical outlet. I ended up buying that power adapter separately and noticed it worked better that way. It has an auto shut-off feature when the batteries are fully charged and the light comes off on each battery port. You can charge just one all 4 at a time.I found this charger and thought I found a winner. I used the charger maybe 6x since I bought it at the end of June and it has now stopped working. The lights don't go on and my batteries don't charge. I purchased the AC cable so I didn't have to rely on batteries (since most of my charging is done at home). I checked the cable figuring this could be the obvious problem, but it's fine. I then tested each battery on each individual terminal and absolutely nothing. Bottom line, save your money and find something else cause this is not it.Der Artikel geht demnachst zuruck, denn die ohnehin schon fur so einen Billigartikel hohen 34 Euro schnellen mit dem fehlenden Netzteil auf uber 50 Euro. Dafur bekomme ich auch drei USB-Lader.I just wish you could charge more then one type of battery. But it does a great job on that type of battery.Und endlich mal ein paar am Stuck fliegen und nicht erstmal nen Tag laden um ne Stunde zu fliegen.;-) LGUm nur ein paar Euro mehr gibts das viel hoher wertige HITEC X4 micro. It connects to a car battery or you can purchase and adapter to power it from the wall. The bad part is that it doesn't last. I have had 3 of these chargers for 6 months. Only one is still working.Like half an ounce of plastic, second didnt work, goes right to balance mode and stays for hours regardless of level of battery (brand new batteries), third. The aircraft's fixed tricycle undercarriage, STOL capabilities, twin turboprop engines and high rate of climb have made it a successful commuter passenger airliner as well as a cargo and medical evacuation aircraft. In addition, the Twin Otter has been popular with commercial skydiving operations, and is used by the United States Army Parachute Team and the United States Air Force 's 98th Flying Training Squadron.A twin-engine replacement for the single-engine DHC-3 Otter retaining DHC's renowned STOL qualities, its design features included double-slotted trailing-edge flaps and ailerons that work in unison with the flaps to boost STOL performance. The initial production run consisted of Series 100 aircraft, serial numbers seven to 115 inclusive. In 1968, Series 200 production began with serial number 116. Changes made at the beginning of Series 200 production included improving the STOL performance, adding a longer nose that was equipped with a larger baggage compartment (except for aircraft fitted with floats), and fitting a larger door to the rear baggage compartment. All Series 1, 100, and 200 aircraft and their variants (110, 210) were fitted with the 550-shaft-horsepower PT6A-20 engines. Both aircraft performance and payload were improved by fitting more powerful PT6A-27 engines. This was a 680 hp (510 kW) engine that was flat-rated to 620 hp (460 kW) for use in the Series 300 Twin Otter. The Series 300 proved to be the most successful variant by far, with 614 Series 300 aircraft and their subvariants (Series 310 for United Kingdom operators, Series 320 for Australian operators, etc.) sold before production in Toronto by de Havilland Canada ended in 1988.The production rate as of summer 2014 was about 24 aircraft per year. The group will purchase 50 aircraft and become the exclusive representatives for new Series 400 Twin Otters in China.
