Attach the Upright (4) with four M10 x 25mm Screws (92) and four M10 Split Washers (105); start all the Screws, and then tighten them.Tip: It may be helpful to use a rubber mallet. While a second person holds the Console (7) near the Upright (4), connect the wires on the Console to the Upper Wire (110) and to the Pulse Sensor Wires (63). Insert the excess wire into the Upright (4) or into the Console (7). Then, tighten both Screws at the same time. Repeat this step on the other side of the elliptical.Orient the Rear Console Cover (80) as shown. Attach the Rear Console Cover (80) to the welded tabs (not shown) on the Upright (4) with two M4 x 16mm Screws (101). Next, orient the Front Console Cover (79) as shown. Note: To plug the Power Adapter (119) into an outlet, see HOW TO PLUG IN THE POWER ADAPTER on page 17.Extra parts may be included. Plug the power adapter into the receptacle on the front of the elliptical. Then, plug the power adapter into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. Make sure that the latch pin is firmly engaged in one of the adjustment holes in the frame. Flame is very heavy, it is kinda hard for one person to assemble. Any about half of phillps screws didn't tighten up all the way(it was just spinning and spinning). Despite that, since phillips screws are used for plastic covers, I didn't really care as main bolts on frames are actually tighten up pretty good. Screen is very basic but it does the job. It operates very quite and smooth. My only concerns is screw on right pedal is starts to lose after riding few hours and it makes squeak noise. I have to tighten it up after every few workout. I am sure I tightened it hard but after hours of workout, it untighten itself. Considering it is moving part and I didn't use automatic tool to tighten it up, it is understandable but is this normal. I spent about 5 hours to assemble it all by myself. I'm an ordinary middle-aged going-to-gym-10-days-per-year type of woman who doesn't have big biceps or 6-pack abs, not yet. I found my dolly and an old couch super useful because the assemble does require moving heavy parts (5 pounds to maybe 80 pounds) from one place to another and two people to hold the outrageously heavy metal base up right. Couch was the other person, reliable and no worry about liability. The dolly is a 20 dollar one from Homedepot, cheap but sturdy enough for the job. All other assembly tools come with the package. You don't need to use your own tools. After setting up, it's easy to use. Control panel is pretty self-explanatory. Don't forget to apply the lubricant gel to all gears during assembling. Gel packs come with the machine. My machine was not pre lubber. The manufacture should have done that before packaging. Since I didn't lub gears, the machine squeaks a lot when in use. This item came with a large crack on the side of the console which is separate from the entire unit and I would assume readily available from the manufacturer to replace. Instead I’m offered to disassemble the unit I just spent over 2 hrs putting together and then boxing it up for return only to have to assemble a second unit and hope and pray the replacement is in good condition. This weight is quite a plus, though, as it adds a lot of stability to the machine. On top of that, its rear and front bases rest on rubberized stabilizers, which also adjust, in order to level the machine fully. It’s not required to place it on a rubberized mat; however, this is recommended. The relocation of the machine isn’t difficult, though, as the front base integrated a set of transport wheels. The rear base also has a handle, so by lifting from behind and leaning it on its front wheels, you won’t be handling more than 45 lbs.
