Sparkles 5.0 out of 5 stars Fits perfectly!http://www.bosport.be/newsletter/bose-quietcomfort-3-acoustic-noise-cancelling-headphones-manual Words of advice for the many people having problems with the wick not lasting, use clear kerosene!! Do not use the red dyed. It smells strong on the wicks die quickly. We used to only be able to get the red kerosene in our area and we replaced the wick every couple of weeks. Now we drive further and get the clear kerosene and the wicks last a very long time and one tank of the clear kerosene seems to last longer. This may be due to the positioning of the pins that are embedded in the wick body. It appears to be short by an eighth inch to one quarter inch. Burned the heater for about an hour with this wick in place. I works fine, but it can't be raised any higher. If I need a replacement wick, I will order this model because it is superior to other wicks I have attempted to use, but ended up discarding. I am not overly impressed with this particular wick at this writing. The wick only lasted for a few uses. I advise you to avoid this overpriced wick at all costs - no pun intended! It did take a while to soak up the kerosene and when it lit it smoked on the first couple of start ups. After that things seems to settle in. It all worked out.Not a lot of generic wicks do.In order to navigate out of this carousel please use your heading shortcut key to navigate to the next or previous heading. You should check the wick at least once a month when in use and replace the wick when it shows signs of wear. Some of the signs include low heat output, the smell of kerosene while burning the heater and difficulty adjusting the wick height. Make sure to purchase the Dyna-Glo wick that fits your heater model as they are not universal. 1 Turn off your Dyna-Glo heater. Allow the heater to cool. 2 Look for the two screws holding the grill guard and cabinet to the heater just above the fuel tank. Grab the guard handle and lift the grill guard and cabinet from the heater. 3 Pull the flame adjustment knob off the heater to release the heater base.http://www.dbgroup-portugal.com/images/canon-ir7095-manual.pdf Lift the base from the heater to expose the wick adjuster assembly. 4 Lift the flat metal wind guard off the top of the assembly. Push down on the safety shut-off valve located next to the flame adjustment knob stem. This trips the pendulum and lowers the wick. 5 Remove the four wing nuts from around the wick adjuster assembly holding it to the fuel tank. Slide the flame adjustment knob back onto the stem. Use the knob to help lift the assembly from the tank. 6 Turn the assembly over to expose wick and the wick cover on the bottom of the assembly. If the gasket came off the tank with the assembly, pull the gasket off the assembly and replace it around the assembly opening on the fuel tank. 7 Twist the wick cover counterclockwise to remove it from the wick. Remove the old wick by folding it to the inside of the assembly as you pull the wick pins from the slots in the assembly. Place the old wick in a 1-gallon sealable storage bag. 8 Pull the round metal wick sleeve from the wick adjuster assembly. Insert the replacement wick into the sleeve. Make sure the arrow on the sleeve and the arrow on the wick point in the same direction. Insert the pins on the wick into the pin opening in the sleeve. Smooth the wick against the inside of the sleeve. 9 Insert the sleeve and wick into the adjuster assembly. Line up the wick pins with the diagonal slots in the assembly. Make sure the wick pins push through the slots. Replace the wick cover and turn it clockwise. 10 Turn the wick assembly over so the wick cover faces down. Reach inside the wick cover and pull down on the bottom of the wick, so it hangs from the bottom of the assembly. 11 Twist the flame adjustment knob to raise the wick as high as possible. Slide the wick and the assembly over the center of the heater and into the fuel tank. Replace the four wing nuts to secure the assembly to the tank. 12 Push down on the safety shut-off valve and raise and lower the wick with the flame adjustment knob to make sure the wick moves properly. Pull the adjustment knob off the stem. 13 Replace the round metal wind cover on top of the wick adjustment assembly. Replace the heater base onto the fuel tank. 14 Push the flame adjustment knob back onto the heater. Slide the grill guard and cabinet back on the heater. Secure the grill guard and cabinet with the two screws you removed previously. She writes mainly home improvement, health and travel articles for various online publications. After 5-10 minutes of operation, the heater should have reached its normal operating temperature and any odor should be very slight. NEVER store kerosene in direct sunlight or near a source of heat. NEVER use kerosene that has been stored from one season to the next. Page 7 NEVER LEAVE THE HEATER UNATTENDED WHILE BURNING. To use the automatic ignition system: Make sure the batteries have been installed. Turn the wick adjuster knob clockwise until the wick has been raised to its maximum height. The burner assembly sits on top of the wick guide. Over time, tar deposits can accumulate on the wick guide, and this can prevent the burner assembly from seating properly. This can result in poor combustion, smoke, odor, etc. Page 11 NEVER LEAVE THE HEATER UNATTENDED WHILE BURNING! 7.
