dx5e spektrum manualIn fact, it boasts many features you simply won't find on most transmitters in its price range. It's a great way to try out the exciting world of Bind-N-Fly aircraft, too. It's 5-channels and extra functions will allow you to fly just about all of them. The DX5e brings together the unbeatable control of genuine DSMX technology with the simplest, easiest-to-use design available, letting anyone, from parkfliers to students to instructors and more, take advantage of Spektrum technology for less. For a Spektrum radio and an AR610 receiver, the DX5e is the greatest value in RC, putting 2.4GHz DSMX control in your hands for less than ever before. The France RF setting should only be turned on when operating your transmitter in France outdoors. Please see page 12 for more details. Since then millions of hobbyists the world over have come to embrace 2.4 as the way to fly. Spektrum leads the way yet again with DSMX; the world’s first wideband, frequency-agile 2.4GHz signal protocol. DSMX better equips you for these challenges by combining the superior data capacity and interference resistance of a wideband signal (like that used in DSM2) with the agility of frequency shifts. Think of it as a river vs. a stream. It takes more interference to dam a river than it does a stream. By adding the agility of frequency shifts to the superior interference resistance of a wideband signal, DSMX is far less likely to suffer significant data loss from on-channel interference. The result is quicker connection times and superior response in even the most crowded 2.4GHz environment. While DSMX receivers have QuickConnect and recover instantly from Consequently because DSMX operates on quiet and noisy channels, it’s common to have more Antenna Fades than when using DSM2, when used in busy 2.4GHz environments. When taking flight log data readings, the Frames and Hold Data are important and should be used a reference while Fades are insignificant due to the nature of During these tests each of the 100 systems was monitored in flight and on the ground. In every test not a single case of RF link loss, latency increase or control degradation was experienced or recorded. In fact, many pilots may find the DSM2 equipment they have now is all they will ever need. Even if a new DSMX transmitter eventually comes along that they really want, all the DSM2 receivers they have now will work with it. Want to know more about DSMX. Visit spektrumrc.http://chemtron-vostok.ru/media/control-estadistico-de-procesos-manual.xmlcom for complete details on this as well as the many other reasons Spektrum is the leader in 2.4. No longer will you have to wait for a frequency pin or be concerned that With Spektrum DSM technology, when you’re ready to fly simply turn on, and go flying! The default is for DSMX technology to be turned on. When it is on, the transmitter will bind to standard DSM2 receivers and DSMX receivers. The only time DSMX technology must be turned off is to bind to high-speed 11ms 2048 DSM2 receivers. Turn on the transmitter. A series of ascending tones should be heard. Release switches. I recently tried to bind a DX5e to an AR610, but to no avail. I went to a hobby shop and they hypothesized my transmitter was faulty, because other transmitters could bind. It even shows a picture of a DX5e in the instruction manual of the AR610, with instructions on binding. There are both DSMX. I can't tell whether they aren't compatible or one is broken, so please help. Thanks Oh and the other transmitters they tried to bind with were six channel transmitters. Looking at the DX5e manual (page 5), it looks like the AR610 may not be compatible with the DSM2 transmitter. Update: Or you need to manually put the transmitter in DSM2 mode first. Instead, they assumed there was a faulty receiver. Therefore, I also assume they know it is compatible. Have you tried standing around 8ft away from the receiver when binding. Some receivers are particularly finicky about that. It didn't work but other transmitters they had could bind. I'm pretty sure at one point Spektrum sold DX5e's with included AR610 receivers If your transmitter binds to neither DSM2 nor DSMX then your focus should rightly be on the transmitter. If so, look it over to see any visible problems (damage to antenna or case, switches inbetween positions, all lights light up with it powered on, etc). Don't take it apart. Horizon Hobby has a very good reputation about their customer support. As long as you have a purchase receipt, I guarantee that they will make it right. I believe if you put in some good RC sim time you should not have any problems as a beginner with this one. It's like a Timex, it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Mine was killed when I was flying in a 20-25 mph wind storm (don't do that at home!). But I had many hours of flight time on it and after a while the wind is just a challenge. So today I am buying another just because it is FUN to fly this one and I have a friend who wants to learn to fly (I am returning the favor to the sport).Recreational How often do you use this product. I had 2 major accidents and was able to completely repair and fly again. This is a very forgiving plane. It flies best with little to no wind and could use a more powerful motor, but for the price it's worth the purchase. Capt Blake - ND What type of hobbyist are you. Several times a month What is your age? 30-45 How long have you been participating in this hobby? 1-3 years Was this review helpful. I wanted something with ailerons and that could handle some wind. After two months with the Champ I had a basic understanding of rc flight and, after waiting for a calm day, I was able to fly the Apprentice without help. My first flight was about 10 minutes - a quick take off, several high altitude passes to learn the throws on the good DX5e controller, and then several landing approaches.I had plenty of time to work out the landing without worrying about it dropping into an obstacle. The battery lasts for 20 minutes so there was plenty of fuel to make multiple approaches. It will fly loops, rolls, can climb while inverted, and the wing design keeps you from tip stalling on final. The components are all very good for the price.Beginner How often do you use this product. Several times a week What is your age? 30-45 How long have you been participating in this hobby? 1-3 years Was this review helpful. Although it has the ability to do expert tricks, it's beginner friendly. On the first flight, I was doing knife edges, barrel roles, and even inverted flight (upside down). One little problem though, is on many grass landings, the plane was tipping to the front a bit, and it bent the front nose wheel. Plus, for the grass run way, the wheels were not big enough to take off, so I ordered bigger ones. PROBLEM SOLVED! Jonesy - Sioux Falls, SD What type of hobbyist are you. Under 15 How long have you been participating in this hobby? 1-3 years Was this review helpful. And so Much More! Quality Fun Value Durability Appearance This was my second plane and first one with alierons (my first was a Super Cub). It not only introduced me to the world of alierons, but also to brushless motors, DSM radios, and aerobatics and I'm very happy it did. My only problem with it is the motor. It seems that after every flight I make, the motor can pops off of the back plate, requiring me to squeeze it back together with a vice. Other that that one problem, (which I'm fixing with a new Power 15 950kV and a 70amp ESC) this is a stunning plane with no bad flying characteristics. Red Cat Joe - Denver, Colorado What type of hobbyist are you. Several times a month What is your age? 15-29 How long have you been participating in this hobby? 4-10 years Was this review helpful. Quality Fun Value Durability Appearance This was my first plane, and let me tell you, it's awesome!!! The day I went flying, it wanted to pitch nose-up, but after messing with the servos for a bit, It was a blast to fly. I love it, however it was a bit expensive. And it says you can charge the battery and go straight to flying, and let me tell you, that is a lie. You do have to glue the wings together with 30-minute-epoxy, and you need an incrediblely small screw diver for the tail. Other than those minor issues, it's awesome, and I would recommend it over the Super Cub as a first plane.Beginner How often do you use this product. I started with the Mini Super Cub and after a few months learning the basics of flight, I purchased the Apprentice. It is very forgiving. I stalled on landings a few times and dropped the wing on landing, but after a little bit of praticeing touch and go, I have the landings down to an artform. I love the way it handles. It does mild acrobatic flight like rolls, loops, inverted flight with ease and has the power to pull out of a stall just in case. I would recommend this plane to anyone who wants to learn how to fly.Beginner How often do you use this product. Daily What is your age? 30-45 How long have you been participating in this hobby? 1-3 years Was this review helpful. Not just beginnners Quality Fun Value Durability Appearance Just got my Apprentice and am very satisfied with it. One complaint though is that the wings had some slight molding defects that had to be fixed before I could put it together. Once that was doen, everything went together well and balanced perfect right out of the box. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.Beginner How often do you use this product. After training myself on the Realflight 6 Simulator over a few weeks (Probably 8-10 total hours), I finally took the plane out today. My first flight went 100 as good as it possibly could, and ended with a buttery smooth landing. The value here is just amazing, and has been one of my best RC purchases ever. It was not really the quality of the plane, but the quality of the assembly of the plane.
