It's not a progressive so less chance of double charge, etc. You can really pay attention to what is going on at each stage. In fact it was my first shotshell press and I used it for several years before stepping up to a Spolar. PM your email address and I'll scan in the manual for you. You go back to first station and put the lever all the way down and it will push the shell out of the sizing die.If not get back to Me I think the few I had do this were Federal Gold Medal, but I'm not sure and didn't make notes. At any rate, when this happens you can just pull the case up a bit with your fingers until you can move it to the left, i.e. toward the decapping and priming station, and things will be OK from that point on. The problem is there isn't that many PW owners down here in Texas. I am just going to try and think this thing out.I am reading several manuals on shot shell reloading as well as the PW manual but I'm getting no where. I will try to find someone locally to actually look at their set up. The problem is there isn't that many PW owners down here in Texas. I thank you guys for the advice but I feel dumb as a stump right now. I am just going to try and think this thing out. I may take a picture of what I have a send it to you guys. Thanks, Jim Hall Maybe more than one?Is this a new reloader or did you get it used. Can you get us a picture. Another option I've heard of is hooking up a webcam so others can see what is going on - kinda like online training and troubleshooting. But without seeing your reloader I'm not sure I can add more insight beyond the comments above about friction. We just need more information so we can get you through this situation. All I can do is email pictures. All I can do is email pictures. This kit is easy to intall into existing tool head and means changing between two gauges is as simple as rotating the tool head. After the final crimp you knock it out and place onto the loading plate underneth the special taper tool. This gives a high quality taper and is installed in the space before station one. This machine loads both 20 and 12 gauge. Gives a very professional tapered crimp.https://labroclub.ru/blog/bose-lifestyle-48-system-manual The owner was an elderly gentleman who has passed away and I'm aware that much of this stuff is old or obsolete. One of the items is a Ponsness-Warren Model 375 Duomatic shotshell loader. I've been loading shotshell on a MEC 600 Jr.It still has a.410 wad inserted into what looks like a wad guide, so obviously it was at one time used to load the 410. The bad news is I don't own a.410. I haven't had time to sit down and study this thing, so can somebody please give me a quick summary of this machine. Is it still being made. I did a quick search and all I can find is people who are trying to get rid of them. One of the other presses that came in the deal is a MEC that is somewhat more sophisticated than the one I own, but that will be the subject of a different thread. I'm trying to figure out if I should keep the Duomatic or get rid of it. Dave SinkoI've never fooled with one though. It is made with a provision for two complete die sets on one head, so two gauges can be reloaded. In fact with another head and two more die sets, you can load all four gauges with one machine. Of course it involves a few steps to change gauges, about 5-10 minutes of adjustments. While the function and gauges changes are quite easy, it's not the kind of thing that can be easily explained in a post here. I also suggest you contact PW, get a manual and study it before you attempt reloading. It is made with a provision for two complete die sets on one head, so two gauges can be reloaded. It could be adapted to shoot anyhthing from.410 bore to 10 ga.http://esxpublishers.com/images/canon-a630-manual-download.pdf I used several machines for a num,ber of years with great results. They make the MEC's look like a pice of Chinese workmanship.Once you use one you wil never buy another MEC. I am not familiar with the Duo-Matic. But I know how much I like my 375-C. Tom. I took it to the range when all the old hardcore trap shooters were doing their thing so they could have a look at it. They all immediately crossed themselves and cursed Ponsness Warren up and down. None had anything good to say about the company or the machines they make. They complained bitterly about their progressive machines, though none had ever seen a Duo-Matic. I took a long, hard look at mine and I still can't figure out where the shells are supposed to go. It looks like it's missing something, though if the one in the above pic is complete, I guess mine is too. It's definitely odd and I doubt I'll be keeping it. I also acquired an old Mec progressive loader, which I'll probably sell too. My old 600 Jr works just fine for the shotshell loading I need to do. Dave SinkoI'm not going to verbally trash the Mec.Many like them but compared with the PW,I have no doubts about which has better quality.I found that somewhere in the storage and moving that I lost the Sizing die. Anyone know where I can buy a 12 gauge sizing die. I fellow at the range tells me that RCBS dies will interchange and the powder and shot dies are interchangeable from what I can see on the internet but I can't find a sizing die. Can anyone give me directions, I will (will) the reloader to you when I go to the place in the sky.I would call them up.they might trade up to a newer unit at a heck of a deal. Good luck. The only reason I still have it is it seems to be able to load.410 and I have been thinking of getting something that shoots.410, like a cheap shotgun or even a Governor. Otherwise it would be of no value to me. I tried the above pdf link but for some reason it doesn't work for me. I'll try it on a different computer and see what happens. Then I'll take another look at this machine and decide what I want to do with it. Dave SinkoIt is made with a provision for two complete die sets on one head, so two gauges can be reloaded. I also suggest you contact PW, get a manual and study it before you attempt reloading. I'll retrieve my machine from the attic and have at it. There are enough positive comments about these machines to pique my interest. I have.410 wads from other experiments and I think I have some.410 hulls so I'll have to see just how good this machine is.You need only to disassemble and turn the tolling head 180 degress to switch between sizes. The head can hold two sets of tooling at a time. Extra heads are available. This means that if you were to purchase another head and the extra tooling you could then have 4 sizes available (2 on each head). Hope this helps to clear things up.This video details the use of the reloading press and also a few of its better features. Ponsness-Warren DuoMatic 375 ?by The Best Gun Channel I use a DuoMatic to load both 28 and 410 gauge shells. The one thing about PW machines is that the shell is held totally inside the die which I think really helps in the smaller gauges. My unit sits next to an old Pacific 155 that I use to load 20 gauge shells with. RobertI took it to the range when all the old hardcore trap shooters were doing their thing so they could have a look at it. They all immediately crossed themselves and cursed Ponsness Warren up and down. None had anything good to say about the company or the machines they make. I also acquired an old Mec progressive loader, which I'll probably sell too. My old 600 Jr works just fine for the shotshell loading I need to do. Dave Sinko I have three of these, although yours looks older, and NEVER a problem. I learned on my machines, and took the time to learn how they work. Everything I ever read about a MEc, there was ALWAYS some thing you needed-- details are endless. I decided they were TOO much fooling around for me, and went with PW-- I have never looked back. Also, I am not in a hurry when I reload, so fast is no required. JMHO What do you all think I should offer for it, he said it is missing a part.Great machine. Very heavy duty. Definitely feels much more solid than my MEC 600. But then again, the devil is in the details. My shells look and work better than his, but Im sure thats not the PWs fault, its the time taken to set up the reloader correctly, something my Dad had someone else do for him, as he isnt the most mechanically inclined guy around. If I came across one for a decent price, Id sell the MEC.well, Id at least put it on a shelf somewhere.Later I bought a progressive Mec 9000 to get more target loads done in a shorter time. But I kept the 375! I still load on the machine when making small runs of special loads and now my son who is 14 loads shells next to me. He runs the 375 and I run the 9000. Very good time and we turn out the ammo his youth team shooting requires. The 375 is built very well. It is a bit different than the Mec but the shells are great. Keep the die that holds the hull clean. I use a chamber brush to scrub it out once in a while. That allows the shell to release properly when you push it out at the end. On the 410. do not blame the loader for crimp issues. 410 hulls are a bear to get a good looking crimp on. It takes just the right combo of wad and load to get a good one. The youtube video mentioned above shows the operation of the loader very well. The adapter for the Mec powder bushings is helpful if you have a large set of Mec bushings. The 375 is the rock chucker of single stage shotgun presses. Good LuckIt's hard to tell if something is missing. The only reason I'm even bothering with it is because it seems to be set up for.410 and even though I don't have a.410 I'd consider getting one if I had the ability to load it. I guess I'll try to find that video. If it turns out I am missing something I'll just get rid of the whole thing. Dave SinkoI figured it's now or never, so I grabbed some Rio.410 hulls that I found at the range the other day. I stared at the fuzzy photos in the manual I had downloaded and read it a few more times. I finally figured out how the shell fits into the holder and the rest was pretty easy. I measured the powder and shot charges on the scale, not bothering with the dispensers for the two shells I loaded. I guess I'll need some bushings for volume loading, if I plan to use it. Problem is I don't own a.410 anything, so I need either a shotgun or a Governor. Persistence pays off! Dave SinkoPersistence pays off. Dave Sinko Thanks JohnI've been loading on a MRC for 38 years and recently had a Duo-Matic 375 given to me because the guy couldn't figure out how it worked. If old enough, PW may not have a record of serial number as is my case and some parts are backwards of the newer style but it will turn out an end result that's as close to factory as you'll ever find. It's a great press and much better than the MEC.They're in Rathdrum, Idaho. While the 375 is a well made machine and loads beautiful shells.it certainly isn't the best single stage shotshell loader. It has a pretty straightforward operation.can hold 2 gauges on the one machine and is somewhat awkward to load with.compared to many other machines. It is high quality. usually well made. Pretty much unchanged since it's inception. As stated it is a bit awkward especially since you are used to loading on a Mec. Also compared to a Mec the P-W is comparatively slow. For mostly hunting shotshells it is probably the machine to use as when you get a shell loaded it should fit in most guns. The best loading machine for speed and versatility for a single stage is still a Mec Sizemaster. That said I still have a Sizemaster set up in 10 ga. It is a well made machine. It'll go on Fleabay soon. You do have a good machine which is worth quite a bit north of a 100 bucks so don't give it away. Lightly used-no dies-started life off as 16 ga-but I sold the gun and the dies and purchased the 12 ga die set in the pictures to make this a 12 ga loader. The tubes are lightly discolored from use. And both fit tight and have baffles and lids. Please view pictures for details. Du o matic Model 375 Reloading Press For 12 Gauge In very good condition. This is about the best single stage press made. I also have the original manual. If it matters. The machine is SN 14726. You can put 2 gauges on 1 tool head and at that point changing gauges is easy and only takes a few minutes. Not sure if it is complete. Not sure if working although it appears to be. Looks to be set up for 20 gauge because it has wad fingers marked 20 ga.Not rusty or dirty. Comes with a whole lot of extra parts. Some of them are marked 410 so it must load that gauge also. Also comes with instruction manual and manuals for gauge die conversion. Also parts diagrams and lists.Taking an educated guess by looking at the extra parts it looks as if there are parts for loading 20 gauge and 410 gauge. NOT SURE THOUGH. Can only describe condition of everything. Everything is pretty clean and is rust free. This is a very heavy well made press. Press. more alone weighs about 22-23 lbs. If you are taking a water sample down to your pool shop or pool professional there are four things that you should get them to check. The first is pH, the second is the stabiliser level, the third is the calcium level and the fourth is the total alkalinity. These four factors will affect the operating performance of your Zodiac saltwater chlorine generator. This will allow it to drift down to the deep end, helping it to evenly disperse throughout the swimming pool. Run your filter for about four to six hours so that the salt evenly disperses throughout the pool and allow about 24 hours for the salt to fully dissolve. If you have a non-reversing chlorinator you should aim to check your cell every fortnight during the peak of the season. If you have a self-cleaning model, you should check it every three to four weeks. You simply need to visually check the electrode and ensure that there are no scale deposits. If there are scale deposits on your cell, then you will need to clean it. The use of eye protection is recommended when working with pool chemicals. Zodiac also recommends you use an electrode cleaning solution from your pool professional as acid can be dangerous. If you don't have a Zodiac branded chlorinator then you might have to shock dose the pool. If you do super chlorinate your pool the chlorine level will go high for about a 24-hour period but after this time your pool be sparkling and clean, ready for swimming. Likewise, if there have been a lot of swimmers in the pool, high temperatures or even heavy rain these will all dilute the amount of free chlorine in your swimming pool. A shock dose of chlorine will help prevent these problems from occurring again. As always, refer to your owners’ manual for more detailed advice or contact your local pool professional. Furthermore, our carriers have indicated they are also experiencing delays. As a result, your order may take longer than usual to be delivered. We thank you for your patience during this time.
