The Ducati 848 happens to be one of those motorbikes that doubles as both a racing bike and a touring one. The 848 was produced for about 5 years from 2008 until 2013 when it was replaced by the 899 Panigale. Over the course of the production of the 848, Ducati enthusiasts were quite impressed with the changes that came along with the model. Today, these motorbikes can be found all over the world. Both technicians and owners can rely on a Ducati 848 repair manual for any necessary maintenance that comes up. While these Italian motorbikes are built to last, they are sure to have a need for some repairs at some point during their lifespan. The Ducati 848 is a sport bike that holds an 849 cc, 90-degree V-twin engine. The base model of the 848 achieves 115.6 horsepower at 10,000 rpm with a torque of 62 pounds feet at 8,250 rpm. After two years of production, Ducati launched the 848 Evo which was a revolutionized version of the Ducati 848. Small improvements included a black swingarm, mono-black Brembo brake calipers, and a steering damper mount. The engine also underwent some changes too which increased horsepower while decreasing weight. Just a year later in 2011, Ducati released an even more improved 848 Evo. A new Marelli throttle body was given as well as revised cylinder heads that had straighter intake ports. A reshaped combustion chamber was also added. The changes in 2011 allowed for a horsepower increase of 6.
