DJ 5.0 out of 5 stars My milk leaks when I’m feeding my child. I have been able to save around 1-2 oz at a time. I have also used this in the shower before and the suction stayed strong. This really helps with engorgement, especially during the first few weeks after birth. I wish I bout it sooner. Liked it so much that I purchased a 2nd one. The silicone is thick. I’ve read reviews for other brands and there are some that say are lighter. I have found these can get heavy, especially if a lot of milk is expressed. I consider this gentle. I felt a lot of soreness when first pumping and adjusting to my child’s latch. This helped me acclimate to breastfeeding again. A plus is that you get the bottle, which truly does limit the amount of gas the baby swallows (has to use the green attachment). The other brands do not provide that.Since I started with this pump my milk flow is more than it has ever been. I BF the first for 12m and second for 15m. With this pump I get about an ounce more than with the electric. It works best while baby is feeding but also works well on its own. Especially if I am away from baby. Also super easy to keep in my purse with a few milk bags. My only complaint is that sometimes it takes a little time to get it to suction properly but eventually I get it in the right position. I highly recommend this pump. It’s good by itself or as an alternate to electric. I have learned that you should use different pumps to increase milk flow.The suction power is good and comfortable. However, the pump itself is very easy to spill, the bottom is not heavy enough to sit on a surface. We already use only Dr Browns bottles for our 8 week old baby as they are the only bottles he can use without getting a tummy ache so we decided to buy the Dr. Browns. sterilizer too and we are very glad we did. It’s very fast and runs in about 8 minutes. It’s also very easy to use and has plenty of space to load all of the different parts of the Dr. Browns bottles. It’s very quiet and doesn’t take up a lot of space either which is great. Absolutely love it !!!! August 2, 2020 I am very happy to recommend it.It’s so simple and easy. The provided cup with a fill line helps to measure accurate water and pour into the bottom - then pack it up and turn it on. Once the blue check mark is lit, you’re good to go. Sterilizing takes about 7 minutes and it’s very lightweight. One less hassle in a chaotic new born mother day. There are SO many options with this system. First off you get to pick from 8oz or 5oz Bottle sizes AND Plastic OR Glass. We chose ALL options. Glass bottles also have a super nifty silicone sleeve you can use Another. Another cool thing is the bottles can be used WITH or WITHOUT the vent system. We use the vents at home, and when out and about we use them without the vents. Next, let's talk about nipple flow rates! Dr. Brown's has the widest variety for flow rates available. Preemie size all the way up to a Level 4! There is also a specialty Y cut nipple for thicker liquids. These bottles will follow your little one from Infancy up to toddlerhood because Dr. Brown's also has a Sippy Spout available. You can turn your bottles into a sippy cup by removing the nipple, and adding a sippy spout. One more amazing thing is that you can also add a set of Handles!! You can use the Formula Mixing Pitcher for other purposes too. I personally use one for daily breastmilk, the mixer carefully swirls all the fat back into the milk. I also do the same with frozen breastmilk- I put 3 to 4 bags of thawed milk into the pitcher, and then use the mixer to carefully swirl the fat back into the milk! Another Dr. Brown's item that I rant and rave about is the Milk Spa Bottle Warmer!! This bottle warmer accommodates both narrow and wide neck bottles in plastic and glass. You can warm room temperature, refrigerated and frozen milk. Best thing is that you can also directly put a frozen bag of milk in the warmer. I also LOVE using my Deluxe Bottle Sterilizer. This ensures my little one always has a sterile bottle available - and this sterilizer accommodates narrow AND wide neck bottles!! I have used Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Deluxe Bottle Sterilizer for about a week to sterilize all of my baby's accessories. I was able to fit six bottles. Didnt matter what size. I used 9 ounce, 5 ounce and four ounce. They all fit. It work really well with Dr. Brown's bottles. I was also able to sterilize six different size nipples as well as a pacifier and the food meshes with no problem. The whole cycle took about twenty five minutes. There is one thing I would change and that would be to change how the tongs are made. I did have trouble using them. Everytime I went to pick up an item it would slip and fall. Other than that I loved the Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Deluxe Bottle Sterilizer. It made my life so much easier than having to sterilize the bottles on the stove and it didn't heat up the house. The Dr Brown’s Natural Flow Microwave Steam Steriliser is part of this, and is the only steriliser Dr Brown’s has. It can fit four wide neck bottle or four taller standard bottles. As with other brands of sterilisers, three minutes cooling time is then recommended for all microwaves. So the quickest you’ll get your bottle back is eight minutes. This means it’ll take only four bottles plus parts, but it will fit in smaller microwaves. And, take the lid of, pop it back in its box, and it’ll take up a tiny amount of room in your car if you’re off to stay with the grandparents or on holidays. As standard bottles are taller than the steriliser, to fit them in, you push the bottle into the crescent-shaped cut-outs in the tray, so they’re supported at an angle in the steriliser. It’s great to be able to fit these in without needing a taller steriliser. Small is best for me. Also the rubber ends help you grip bottles and parts. No more dropping bits and then re-sterilising! Also, when trying to get the steriliser out of the microwave, one handle always seems to be around the back. And in a microwave our size, there’s no room to move your hand around the steriliser to reach it, so you have to slightly drag out the steriliser, balancing the hot contents til you can get to it. Persevere through the first read of the instructions though, because once you know where to pop the bits, it’s really easy to arrange your feeding kit correctly. The sterilisation cycle is reasonably fast and cleaning the unit is so simple. However, the small side handles and unlockable cove make it difficult to move the steriliser about when it’s full.
