A UTO mode and GAS operation The LP indication dot is lit. Manual gas operation mode. Digits Fresh food temperature. Thermostat range setting indication (1 - 5). T emporary during setting. The thermostat settings are stored automatically after 5 sec.Press the button repeatedly until the desired setting, e.g. 3, is sho wn in the LED display. This v alue is shown for about 5 seconds and then the temperature is displayed again, e.g. 43. 1. 2. 3. 0 6 l P 3 4 3 CONTROL P ANEL 1 3 2 E.g. 4 3 The LED display panel provides a quick visual indicator of the temperature of the food in the fresh food cabinet, modes of operation, status messages and alarm conditions. The liquid ammonia then ?ows into the e vaporator (inside the freezer section) and is exposed to a circulating ?o w of hydro- gen gas, which causes the ammonia to e vaporate, creating a cold condition in the freezer. When starting this refrigerator for the very ?rst time, the cool- ing cycle may require up to four hours of running time before the cooling unit is fully operational. The tubing in the e vapora- tor section is speci?cally sloped to provide a continuous mo ve- ment of liquid ammonia, ?o wing downward by gra vity through this section.http://rigdrilling.org/userfiles/canon-fd-manual.xml Leveling the refrigerator Lev eling is one of the requirements for proper operation with absorption refrigerators. T o ensure proper le veling the vehicle needs to be le veled so it is comfortable to li ve in (no noticeable sloping of ?oor or walls). Any time the v ehicle is parked for se veral hours with the refrig - erator operating, the vehicle should be le veled to pre vent this loss of cooling. If the refrigerator is operated when it is not lev el and the vehi- cle is not moving, liquid ammonia will accumulate in sections of the ev aporator tubing. This will slo w the circulation of hy- drogen and ammonia gas, or in se vere cases, completely block it, resulting in a loss of cooling. When the vehicle is mo ving, the lev eling is not critical, as the rolling and pitching mov ement of the vehicle will pass to either side of lev el, keeping the liquid ammonia from accumulating in the ev aporator tubing. AUTOMA TIC ENERGY SELECTOR CONTROL SYSTEM The refrigerator is equipped with an automatic energy selector control system. The user turns the refrigerator on, selects the desired temperature and then, the refrigerator automatically selects the most suitable energy source a v ailable (either 120 V A C or LP gas operation). The system can be set by the user to be fully automatic (A UTO mode is selected) or to operate on LP gas only (A UTO mode is of f). The refrigerator controls will work do wn to 9.6 volt DC. MODES OF OPERA TION - AUTO AND GAS AUTO mode When the refrigerator is in A UTO mode, it automatically uses the most ef?cient energy source that is a v ailable for operation. Should a more ef?cient energy source become a v ailable during operation, the refrigerator controls change from the current energy source to the more ef?cient ener gy source as follows: A C operation (if 120V A C is av ailable). A C operation is only possible in A UTO mode. GAS operation (if 120V A C is not av ailable).http://www.raumboerse-luzern.ch/mieten/bosch-induction-cooktop-manual GAS mode (manual LP gas operation) When A UTO mode is turned off, the refrigerator uses gas as energy source - e ven if AC is a v ailable. 1. 2. REFRIGERA TOR OVER VIEW FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARD. When refu- eling or parked near gasoline pumps, shut off all LP gas appliances. F ailure to heed this war ning could cause a ?re or explosion r esulting in death or sev ere personal injury.F ailure to heed this war ning could cause a ?re r esulting in personal injury WARNING.Make sure that a continuous 12V DC supply is a vailable for the electronic control to function. Ne ver put hot food or drinks into the refrigerator - cool them ?rst. The food storage compartment is completely closed and un ventilated, which is necessary to maintain the required low temperature for food storage. Consequently, foods hav- ing a strong odor or those that absorb odors easily should be cov ered. V egetables, salads etc.The coldest positions in the refrigerator are under the cool- ing ?ns and at the bottom of the refrigerator. The warmer ar - eas are on the upper door shelves. Do not ov erpack because a stuffed refrigerator must w ork harder and will hav e higher cabinet temperatures. Do not leav e the unit’ s door open any longer than necessary. This will reduce frost formation and increase the ef?ciency of the refrigerator. FROZEN FOOD STORAGE COMP ARTMENT This compartment is not designed for deep or quick freezing of food. T o prev ent food from drying out, keep it in cov ered dishes, containers, plastic bags or wrapped in aluminum foil. Meat or ?sh, whether raw or prepared, can be stored in the frozen food storage compartment provided the y are pre- cooled ?rst in the refrigerator. They can be stored about three times longer in the frozen food compartment as com- pared to the fresh food compartment. Quick frozen soft fruits and ice cream should be placed in the coldest part of the compartment, which is at the bottom of the aluminum liner.http://helpmequickbooks.com/images/budget-manual-in-cost-accounting.pdf Frozen ve getables, may be stored in any part of the compart- ment. T o prev ent frost buildup, which can reduce the ef?ciency, wipe excess moisture of f items being placed in the compart- ment. Ice cubes Ice cubes can be made in the freezer compartment. Place the trays in direct contact with the bottom of the freezer compart- ment. Ne ver stor e explosive substances in the refrigerator, such as cigarette lighter fuel, gasoline, ether or the like. F ailure to heed this warning could cause an explosion resulting in death or se ver e personal injury. WARNING ! OPERA TING THE REFRIGERA TOR ADJUSTING THE THERMOST A T The thermostat controls both the gas and electric operation. Thus it is not necessary to reset each time a different ener gy source is employed. The adjustable thermostat ranges from 1 - 5 where 5 signi?es the coldest temperature setting. After the initial start-up, adjust the thermostat by pressing the TEMP. SET button repeatedly until the desired setting is displayed. This shuts of f all DC power to the refrigerator, in- cluding the interior light. If the refrigerator will not be in operation for a period of weeks, it should be emptied, defrosted, cleaned and the doors left ajar. The ice trays should also be dried and kept outside the cabinet. The number of shelv es and positions may vary between refrigerator models. Use the card as a slidable spacer in door compartments. Press ?rmly until it snaps into place. T o remov e, tilt the card and detach. 1 3 2 4 1 2 3 Leav e the cabinet and freezer doors open and place the drip tray under the ?nned ev aporator. Defrosting time can be reduced by ?lling the ice trays with hot water and placing them in the freezer compartment. When all the frost has melted, dry the interior with a clean cloth. Replace the food. Set the thermostat to the coldest setting for a few hours. Then, reset the thermostat to the desired setting, usually at mid setting. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Snap the fuse out of the fuse holder. Fit the new fuse in to the fuse holder. Put back the power module co ver. 7. 8. 9. 10. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. CLEANING Always k eep the refrigerator clean. Cleaning the refrigerator is usually done after it is defrosted or put into storage. Use luke warm weak soda solution to clean the interior liner of the refrigerator. Use warm water only to clean the ?nned e vapora- tor, gasket, ice tray and shelv es. NO TE! Ne ver use strong chemicals or abrasi ves to clean these parts, as the protecti ve surfaces will be damaged. Do not spray liquids near electrical outlets, connections or the refrigerator components. Make sure the refrigerator area is free from comb ustible material, gasoline and other ?ammable v apors or liquids. Clean the coils on the back of the refrigerator. Please note that this service should be perf ormed by quali?ed service personnel only. The inf ormation in this section is intended for ser vice personnel.
