O dobramento por maquinas permite dobrar tubos de secoes redondas e nao redondas, com variadas bitolas, sendo de raio fixo ou variado. Tais caracteristicas serao possiveis de aplicar devido a mudanca do conjunto de ferramentas na maquina, que por sua vez sao 16 semelhantes as ferramentas utilizadas em conformadora de tubos manuais. A unica diferenca e o incremento de acessorios que garantirao o perfeito curvamento do tubo, evitando principalmente a ovalizacao entre dobras. A grande vantagem de realizar o processo de dobramento utilizando maquinas e a produtividade e a garantia de tolerancias dimensionais, podendo obter maior repetitividade e precisao constante, o que possibilita fabricar pecas para diversas aplicacoes. A maioria das maquinas possuem comandos eletricos e dispensam qualquer tipo de regulagem mecanica. Geralmente sao integradas a um software de programacao grafica visual, que permite a simulacao com analise de tempo de ciclo, sinalizacao e eventuais colisoes da maquina e do tubo. Fonte: BLM GROUP, 2015. 2.3 PROCESSO DE DOBRAMENTO DE TUBOS O processo de dobramento de tubos pode ser realizado de diversas maneiras, dependendo da funcao da curvatura e do tipo de material a serem dobrados. Os meios mais conhecidos sao. Dobramento por compressao (compression bending). Dobramento por tracao (draw bending). Dobramento por estiramento (ram bending). Dobramento em calandra (roll bending). 17 2.3.1 Dobramento por compressao (compression bending) O dobramento por compressao e realizado por uma matriz fixa de raio estabelecido e de duas matrizes moveis, demonstrado na Figura 4. O tubo e fixado entre a matriz fixa e as matrizes moveis onde se aplica uma forca que pressionara o tubo na ferramenta, que por sua vez estabelecera o formato final da peca. O dobramento por compressao e realizado por dobradeiras hidraulicas, maquinas projetadas para curvamento de tubos a frio. Suas matrizes sao projetadas de acordo com a capacidade de curvamento. O dobramento por compressao tambem pode ser realizado em maquinas de dobramento por rotacao, que sao maquinas capazes de realizar curvamentos precisos e com variados raios de dobra. 2.3.2 Dobramento por tracao (draw bending) No dobramento por tracao, o tubo e tracionado por uma matriz que possui o raio de dobra que pretende aplicar a peca, a matriz realiza um movimento em torno do seu eixo; na outra extremidade, o tubo fica preso por uma matriz fixa. O formato da matriz permite a utilizacao de acessorios que auxiliarao na conformacao do tubo, prevenindo marcas de ferramenta, ovalizacao ou achatamento entre dobras.
