digistat 2 rf user manualHere you will find guidance on how to make your home more comfortable and energy efficient using heating controls. Around 70 of UK homes do not have the minimum level of controls meaning that thousands of people are missing out on the cost savings they can bring. But with so many different controls on the market, it can be confusing to understand exactly what these products do, and which will be the best for your home. Here you can find useful information, training modules and wiring diagrams to help with your day-to-day job. To return to the Homepage, click HERE. The temperature you are setting w ill flash on the screen. Once temperature is set, the unit will r evert to showing the current temperature. The indicator will s how on the screen if the heating is turned on. T o adjust these times and temperatures 1. With the product operating as normal in the Auto mode press twice until the display is flashing as shown. The unit is now set correctly to follow your required timings. A room thermostat works by sensing the air temperature, switching on the heating when the air temperature falls below the thermostat setting, and switching it off once this set temperature has been reached. So, a programmable room thermostat lets you choose what times you want the heating to be on, and what temperature it should reach while it is on. It will allow you to select different temperatures in your home at different times of the day (and days of the week) to meet your particular needs. T urning a programmable room thermostat to a higher setting will not make the room heat up any faster. How quickly the room heats up depends on the design of the heating system, for example, the size of boiler and radiators. Neither does the setting affect how quickly the room cools down. T urning a programmable room thermostat to a lower setting will result in the room being controlled at a lower temperature, and saves energy.http://consoles-a-gagner.com/fckeditor/userfiles/brocade-silkworm-200e-manual.xml

The way to set and use your programmable room thermostat is to find the lowest temperature settings that you are comfortable with at the different times you have chosen, and then leave it alone to do its job. The best way to do this is to set low temperatures first, say 18 o C, and then turn them up by one degree each day until you are comfortable with the temperatures. Y ou won’t have to adjust the thermostat further. Any adjustments above these settings will waste energy and cost you more money. If your heating system is a boiler with radiators, there will usually be only one programmable room thermostat to control the whole house. But you can have different temperatures in individual rooms by installing thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) on individual radiators. If you don’t have TRVs, you should choose a temperature that is reasonable for the whole house. If you do have TRVs, you can choose a slightly higher setting to make sure that even the coldest room is comfortable, then prevent any overheating in other rooms by adjusting the TRVs. The time on the programmer must be correct. Some types have to be adjusted in spring and autumn at the changes between Greenwich Mean Time and British Summer Time. These are explained in the manufacturer’s instructions. Programmable room thermostats need a free flow of air to sense the temperature, so they must not be covered by curtains or blocked by furniture. Nearby electric fires, televisions, wall or table lamps may prevent the thermostat from working properly. (Fig 3) H ow to replace the batteries see fig 3. R emove the battery cover using a coin. DRAYTON DIGISTAT 2RF Plus DRAYTON DIGISTAT 2RF Plus The heating from the Worcester Bosch boiler is controlled by a DRAYTON DIGISTAT 2RF Plus, which is the most complicated controlled I have ever seen and I have used a number of controllers over the years. It is not a straightforward controller to programme, found on-line few videos but none seems to give an easy method to programme. I wonder if anyone is using this thermostat who can share their experiences or give a quick way of how to programme it.I actually downloaded this document before Xmas and followed the instruction but for some reasons unknown to me, the thermostat keeps reverting to its original programme. I honestly tried hard not to compare it to my previous thermostat (digital one from Vaillant) which was so easy to programme but am struggling with this rf plus So you program it for the tempetature you want it to be from that time.I do not have this exact model. To avoid this problem, the antennas should be mounted high enough off the ground so that the earth does not interfere with the central diameter of the Fresnel Zone. Minimal height of base radio: Range Distance Height 1000 ft (305 m) 15 ft (4.6 m) 1 Mile (1.61 km) 25 ft (7.6 m) 1.5 Miles (2.42 km) or more 45 ft (13.7 m) If you do not have enough cable from the computer to the radio there are different cable lengths that Digi-Star offers, or you would like a higher powered antenna, contact Digi-Star. If DataLink is still showing radio interference, check the WIFI network number. Changing this number can correct for radio interference. Standard Range Setup When using the standard range kit, connect the DB9 serial connector to either a serial port on the PC or use the USB to Serial adapter included and connect the 12VDC power supply to the cable. The base radio is shipped from Digi-Star setup for standard range. RF Datalink will then pause while looking at the radio for the new settings. Next open the housing of the base radio. When attaching the female plug to the power cord, remove green ground wire and attach either of the remaining two wires to either terminal. Antenna Assembly 4 Operators Manual USB Black Box Installation Plug in the Black box into a USB port. Windows will detect the Black box and at this point Insert the driver CD. Follow the Windows prompts. Open the end cover of the Black Box and install the wires as follows: Entering Mixer Data Adding Mixers To access the Mixers screen, select Mixers from the Menu. This will display the Mixers screen. In a new installation, the Mixer screen will be blank. Select the New button to add a new mixer. Enter the Mixer number 1-24 (this number should match the Channel Number). The first letter of this may be displayed on the Process Screen. To view or change the number, use the direct access number (231). Press (Select) to change the number, and press (On) to save. Make sure if you are using two or more mixers that you don’t use the same radio ID. The Zone Control allows you to split your pens into separate Zones and to assign specific feed mixers to those Zones. If you set this, you must include the Zone field in the pen data being sent. By setting up Zones, you limit the pens assigned to a Mixer to only those assigned to its Zone. You can override this setting by sending a load outside of the Mixer’s Zone manually. The RF Datalink will ask you to verify that you want to send a load outside of the Mixers Zone. You can designate a delivery truck to only go to a specific mixer. Sorting setting allows you to set a recipe order depending on each mixer. Example: Mixer one sort’s recipes in this order R3, R2, R1. Mixer two sorts in this order R1, R2, R3 Load Wait - Timing The Timing Settings allow you to optimize the efficiency of the radio communications within the RF Datalink program. The RF Datalink continuously searches for Mixers. To optimize this process you can take into consideration the time required for a Mixer to service the pens. Example: It takes your operator 10 minutes to load the ration, 5 minutes to mix and another 5 minutes to drive to pen 3. That being the case, you can tell the RF Datalink program to ignore the Mixer for the initial 20 minutes that it will take just to get to the pen. This option allows you to send all your feeding information to the scale indicator with the intention to reuse the data for more than one day. When Datalink sends the data to the indicator, Datalink will only receive completed data when the operator completes each load. The indicator will keep the loads active to reuse over again and this allows the Datalink program to only communicate when necessary to receive completed loads. When new data is needed to update the indicator, send the new data to Datalink. 6 Operators Manual Datalink will then receive any completed data from the indicator and send the new data to the indicator. The indicator will need the Re-Use feature activated in order for this to work. The indicator will display RE-USE then OFF. The system defaults control how you process your feedings. These settings can help to further optimize your feeding process. Please take some time to read and understand these settings and their affect on your feeding process. The system defaults screen contains all the choices available to change the manner in which the RF Datalink processes your feedings. Interactive with Mill Interactive with mill option waits to send out pen feeding information until the mill software indicates to Datalink what batch was created, then Datalink will send out the correct size load to a delivery truck. Bunk Reader All Mixers This option is like Loads Made by Bunk Reader. This option will send out all the loads at one time to specific or all mixers. Auto Start Processing This option allows the Datalink software enter the Processing screen immediately. This option is useful when Datalink is set-up in the startup menu of Windows and incase of a power outage. Verify Ingredient Checksum This option double checks all the data being sent from the scale indicator to Datalink. This option is normally not selected. It is only selected if the Datalink program is experiencing errors in the data being collected by the 3rd party bunk reader software. Weigh Units This selection sets the weigh units of the RF Datalink to either pounds or kilograms. Be sure that the EZ indicator is set to the same weigh units. Archive Data This option allows you to have Datalink store all the pen feeding data into an backup archive. This options is normally set to 14 day. Defaults - File Directories RF Datalink shares files with other software. This will display the File Directories screen. Path to Pen and Ration Data Files - this is the data that is transferred from the third party software or TMR Tracker. Ration mixes and pen calls.
