If she is riding mostly paved trails or on the road the rigid fork is good but a suspension fork will just make the bike heavier and eats some of your effort on inclines. I would invest in a really good set of grips if she gets numb or tingly hands on longer rides. Also, its grouped with components that have long been tested and will last.
