One point regarding the dust hood: when it's installed, you can't fold up the outfeed table. Solution: don't permanently screw the dust hood to the planer. I have two 115V 20 amp circuits in my garage running on 12-3 cable. Additionally the DB1XL and the table saw run together on a third 230V 20 amp circuit.
