This technology protects the VacuAide from over suctioning. As a filter can become occluded through secretion or cleaning solution; having a spare filter on hand is recommended. It is, however, necessary to purchase the correct mains lead for the country you are travelling to. The green light indicates that the battery is connected to an external power source; an amber light indicates that the battery is being charged and will go out once the unit is fully charged, and a red light warns of low battery.
