The major one has a video that demonstrates how to do this repair. —Using high quality beans with minimal oil causes them to easily slide through the grinder. The belt driving the grinder is replaceable if required. —Use the proper dial setting on the grinder to adjust the body of the espresso. It usually takes a couple cycles to achieve the benefit of the adjustment. If the coffee won’t expel the grind is too fine; if too watery it’s too corse. I was shocked at the engineering that goes into this machine. I recently changed the tap and took some photos that show why it’s so heavy and the lengthy path which the water travels.I just don't like regular coffee that much unless it is a really good bean roasted exactly how I like it. Eventually the repair depot got onto them and it was cleared, more weeks later. That was months after the breakdown. After confirming myself that it worked, I gave it away. Today it broke down again. Be warned, the machine is faulty and DeLonghi will do anything to avoid correcting the problems even during the warranty period.Then was told that parts were not available for my model year. So I bought a new one from Amazon in July. It worked well for about two weeks, Called Delonghi Customer Service who tried a number of ideas until it did work again for two days. Asked for a replacement from Amazon and it came quickly and I returned the defective unit. Replacement unit worked for about two weeks, called Delonghi Customer Service and using my iPhone went through many tests with no result. Customer Service said they would send out a box and a UPS label.
