Quadro G-Sync boards to synchronize multiple GPU's in a cluster of Ventuz installationsThe SDI output of these board family can be used as monitor output. External key, Audio and other features of this product line are not address by Ventuz.Intel GPUs are not recommended for production. Often, however, they are the only choice for tablet- or laptop-based productions. In these cases, be sure to verify your performance and build Ventuz scenes carefully.Ventuz may run on such boards without any promises! This was not adopted as a standard. The amount of simultaneous streams depends on the used boards, the video formats and speed of the main boards PCI-Express slots. Some boards only support keying for certain link types, like only HD.Only those boards marked (4k) can do this in 4k modes. Some boards only support keying for certain link types, like only HD.Timebase means multiple formats are supported, but they must be all dropframe or none dropframe. If a certain option requires more jacks than the board offers, the mode is obviously not supported. If a product certain product of a product family breaks the rule, it will be mentioned either in the footnotes (like 8 ) or as a special line in the table.External keying can be multiplicative or additive depending on the hardware used as external keyer. Higher resolutions or refresh-rates are not supported. With the exception of the Duo and Quad boards, no Blackmagic products supports two inputs or two outputs simultaneously. The Decklink 4k Extreme has more features and is listed separately. The Decklink 4k Pro technically belongs to this series but has not been tested. They provide precisely the feature set required for reliable SDI IO and VANC processing. Neither more, nor less. The Deltacast product range are recommended for use with Ventuz. Please contact Ventuz sales or your Ventuz Broadcast Integrator for details. For reference, here is a table that matches Ventuz version, Deltacast SDK version and the driver version as displayed in the device manager. A different driver version will be displayed for the Gen1, Gen2 and DVI boards, fortunately they are easy to discern:For instance, the 4c board can act as 40 31 22 13 or 04 board. Do this before setting up any stream for this board. Unlike other boards where each jack can be configured individually, with these boards you split the jacks into two groups, inputs and outputs. Check the cabling guide on how this works. For instance, using PAL as genlock and 720p50 as output is ok. But notice that for deltacast boards, the video format of the output defines the units for the genlock offset: changing the genlock by one line will change the genlock by one line in 720p, not one line in PAL. This also works with genlock format set to auto, since the video format ouf the output stream is always known. If multiple outputs with different video format are defined, the effect of the genlock offset is unspecified. This will usually be done automatically. If you configure one output as internal key and a second output as normal output, you must configure the genlock manually. They do not completely replace the DELTA-hd-e-Key 22 because they lack bypass relays and the delay line mode, but they provide the performance required for 3G and 4k modes. This allows the board which is normally in a 4 input 4 output configuration to output a 2 x 4 link 4k signal for external keying using all its 8 jacks.Sometimes this can be fixed by setting. Deltacast specific registry keys for 'memory pre-allocation'A permanent solution is to set a few Windows registry keys. This will set the registry keys:Using this registry file will reserve 288 MBytes of memory at boot time, making it unavailable for other purposes. You might want to tweak this a bit to save memory:Blackburst reference inputs (genlock) do not count. Example: a 2 in 2 out board needs pools 0 to 3 pre-allocated, a 2-in card needs pools 0 and 1 pre-allocated.For a hd-elp-d 44 or 80, also set the pools 4 to 7 to 03000000.When inserted into a 4 lane PCI-Express slot, data transfer between Ventuz and the board works only at half speed. Please check for correct installation of the card by checking the Video Device Information. This can be fixed by setting Board Format to RGBA 8 in the Advanced Options. This setting has the same speed but lower quality as Quality, so it should only be used to fix mainboard incompatibility issues. See Board Format for more information about board formats and how Quality and Speed are interpreted. This will be done automatically if you specify one of these modes directly, but it won't happen if you use auto-detect.This chip contains thousands to millions of hardware logic cells that can be re-wired by uploading a bit-file to form whatever hardware is desired. When programming an FPGA, it is not only a software that is changed, but the hardware itself. Sometimes vendors do not manage to fit all features into the limited logic cells and supply different bit-files for different feature sets. After the end of the flashing process, the software will ask you to power down your computer. You really must power down your computer, or the update will no take effect. This should make the driver installer re-scan all hardware and install the drivers correctly, as you can verify with the device manager.Currently we do not support audio with Datapath boards. All these products support simultaneous input and output. Older products only support one operation at the time, which is input, output or keying. Also, you can not have input and output of a channel operate at the same time. Each pair of jacks can be used for internal and external keying.See the big vendor table above for details. This can be configured for each input separately. Only one input can be used at a time.Check the SDI-Vendor list above to see which SDI board models are supported.Trackmen uses in all cases the same consistent protocol for tracking data transfer, so all Trackmen systems can be connected to Ventuz, regardless of the tracking technology used. Currently Trackmen collaborates with crane manufacturer Egripment to offer sensorized cranes and pedestals - since these systems use Trackmen technology, they are also supported by Ventuz. The system does not require any additional external sensors or infra-red cameras and there is no need for any physical modifications of the camera crane.HTC-Vive and ? Please refer to the how to use NDI documentation. The purpose of this is to transmit this buffer to the Ventuz Director or other applications, to display a preview of the rendering pipes. This is currently only supported for inputs. All available devices are automatically detected and listed in this menu, along with the following default options: Selecting Active Viewer always displays the Viewer that is currently selected in the workspace. If you’ve specified an OCIO configuration file in the preferences, these custom LUTs are also applicable. Supported released versions are continuously tested against the recommended operating system, and incompatibilities that might be introduced by new patches will be addressed via a new Cinegy software release where appropriate. The CPU’s listed should be used as a guide to select modern equivalent options and not as direct requirements. For example, to monitor 16 SDI HD streams and output H.264 encoded UHD stream, a machine should be equipped with NVidia GPU, 4 SDI cards and motherboard with corresponding number of PCI slots. In this case virtually no requirements are applied to CPU. Make sure the applications or services autostart is disabled. In case you cannot access the correct number of inputs on the board after installing the new Cinegy software, then a firmware upgrade will be required. The relevant AJA Driver and Tools package can be downloaded here.At least 5 mph airflow in the chassis is recommended, especially when using multiple boards. For mission critical high bandwidth and bit rate multichannel operations we recommend using separate network cards and dedicated networks segments, so that multiple cards and networks could be used on each server. Blackmagic customer service was helpful and nice. They helped me get a RMA number. Only problem is it takes two weeks from the time they receive it, till the time you get it back. Sorry, but a DOA card is not my fault. It came broken. They should bend over backwards to fix their mistake. Sending a new card to me overnight or even 2-Day would be more like it. I would even accept a deposit on my credit card till they received the bad one. What if I was working on a time sensitive edit. It's been a month since I completed the install. On two different machines, I've had to reseat the card 4 times because they weren't working properly. More delays and trouble shooting. I've owned 5 different Kona cards and although move expensive, they always worked. You get what you pay for. If you're a one-man band on a shoestring, take a gamble. If you have a multi-seat facility, think twice. Down time can create headaches, cost money, ticks off the client and you're boss. I know we get these review emails as soon as we buy the product. That not always fair. It's good to hear how happy people are down the road. Having to reseat the cards as much as I have makes me nervous. I may have made a mistake. Penny wise, pound foolish. Please try again later. Please try again later. SDI, HDMI and analog component works in all video formats up to 1080p60. Work with the widest range of equipment, such as HDCAM, HD-D5, HDCAM SR, Betacam SP, Digital Betacam, HD receivers, HDV cameras, televisions, mixers and more. Amazing 3D Workflow DeckLink HD Extreme 3D is ready for 3D workflow using both interleaved and dual stream capture and playback. Interleaved is where the left and right eye are muxed as fields so you can edit using standard editing software. Dual steam is where DeckLink HD Extreme 3D uses the dual link SDI connections to capture and playback two streams for left and right eye, and records them into two separate media files. Dual stream 3D is higher quality because each eye is full resolution, but less compatible with current editing software. Unlike FireWire products, you get all CPU time for real time effects, as only PCI Express lets you upgrade to HD without limiting real time effects. The higher speed of PCI Express also easily handles advanced formats such as full resolution 2K digital film. Only high speed PCI Express ensures that when you upgrade your studio to high definition, you'll get full real time effects. Powerful Image Processor DeckLink HD Extreme 3D includes a fast video processor for incredible 10 bit quality hardware up, down and cross conversion. Now you can edit once and deploy in SD, 720HD or 1080HD while leaving all CPU time dedicated to real time effects. You can also select between letterbox, anamorphic 16:9 and pillar- box 4:3 video. When working in HD video, down conversion lets you monitor in SD and HD at the same time with s-video and composite video outputs active. Only DeckLink HD Extreme 3D gives you film editing features built in for no extra cost. Incredible Built In HDMI You'll love the full resolution HDMI input and output built into DeckLink HD Extreme 3D. Use the HDMI output for connecting to any 2D or 3D HDMI television or video projector for full HD resolution monitoring at much lower cost than a dedicated HD broadcast monitor. Imagine presenting your work to your clients using cinema size large screen video projectors or televisions. Use the built in HDMI input for capturing from cameras with HDMI outputs. Unlike FireWire capture, using the HDMI output of consumer cameras means you get the highest quality uncompressed video from the camera, or you can use the native compression of your editing software, such as uncompressed, JPEG, DVCPRO HD, and ProRes. World's Highest Quality Fully compatible with SD-SDI and HD-SDI 4:2:2, new DeckLink HD Extreme 3D also features Dual Link HD-SDI 4:4:4 connections for feature film quality. Dual Link 4:4:4 is used on the latest Sony HDCAM SR decks, and contains additional color detail giving you full RGB color bandwidth and extra precision of up to 10 bit SDI video. When connected via PCI Express to a host computer, this higher quality video can be captured and played back completely uncompressed for amazing feature film quality. Uncompressed 10 bit video is the highest quality possible from the SDI television system, and only uncompressed video will hold up under heavy working conditions demanded by clients today while retaining a delicate film look. True Professional Quality Audio DeckLink HD Extreme 3D features unbalanced AES digital audio in and out as well as XLR balanced pro audio for incredible quality while maintaining sample accurate AV sync. DeckLink HD Extreme 3D also includes a massive 16 channels of SDI embedded audio support for HD capture and playback, and 8 channels of SDI embedded audio for standard definition capture and playback. Instantly switch between 2K, 1080 HD, 720 HD, NTSC and PAL for worldwide compatibility. All Rights Reserved. I have a show tomorrow. If not it's a driver or config (control panel) issue. And thanks:) In media express i dont know how to get the signal up). Sorry to ask about such fundamental questions, but at the moment i'm totally lost.Really don't knows whats wrong. Check the camera setting is compatible. Not all BMD hardware accepts all signals. 1080p60 can be a problem for example. Make sure the driver is current and set to the correct input. It's really strange since this worked until i came here today and started up. Some other BMD devices can handle that though. First you have to check the camera output setting (may be different than record setting) is set to a BMD compatible setting (depends on BMD device). Then you have to set System Preferences, Blackmagic Desktop Video to the correct HDMI or SDI input and make sure it's not doing a conversion. Then check in Media Express to see video. If you see video there you can quite Media Express and start Wirecast and check there. We run 1080I50 and I have connection through my ATEM. So I totally dont understand what has happended. Like a switch has been pushed.ALso i look at single and dual link sdi? You see. I'm a novice in these cards.Do you see the BMD driver listed in macOS Preference pane. What version is is? We're going to have to go through this one step at a time. You really should contact Blackmagic support on this immediately. Where do I find the macOS preferences pane. Thanks for helping:) And drivers for devices are often found there. Third Party ones tend to be on the bottom row(s). So i've placed the system in a rack including a BMD broadcast panel. It all works fine. The problems above is still there. But I can live with this solution though. Then I would like to get video out from my decklink to ATEM, so all my motion pictures is controller by the Blackmagic. Do you know why I vant get this video in to connect to my ATEM. Of course I can catch this through wirecast if nothing else works, but I would prefer to get the signal through my ATEM, if my mac should go down under the production. DO you have any thoughts about that. Best wishes and thanks. Mark BMD current driver is 11.4.1 and you should always test in Blackmagic Media Express first to see if the computer is getting video. BMD driver 11.4.1 requires Mojave. Mojave requires Wirecast 12.2.1 or 13.0.1 I have updated to high sierra (highest OS i can run). I have BMD 11.4.1 and it worked earlier today, I also have wirecast 13.0.1. Works fine as well. But at the moment I get the 'god old' error mistanke about the hardware. But as mentioned I got this working earlier today with recording possibillities and picture from ATEM to wirecast (and Blackmagic Desktop Video). Look at this video here. Say - which makes sence in common to my experience just written. You should create a new document and then create a shot and check Wirecast Source Properties. What doesn't work properly on high sierra? If you can't see Blackmagic in WIrecast that might be an issue. Do test with a new document and shot and check the Wirecast shot Source Properties. You may need to change settings there. So until now things work. I’ve written to bad as well as the dealer to ask about the problems I have. But thanks. I'm not sure what may break in High Sierra or perhaps we didn't test completely to confirm compatibility.
