I just decided to open the unit, and while opening it, I noticed that the clip for the display on the stove top wasn’t plugged in all the way. Once I pushed in the clip, the stove turned on and also the display. As of now the stove is working like it should. Hope this helps out for the next person that encounter’s this problem.
