dbx 906 manualLearn more The link with the manuals is nice, but like the dbx site, nothing on the 906. The 906 is 2 cards, and I'm not sure how to connect it from the back of the rack. If someone knows please chime in. Or if anyone has the hookup diagram, like this, but only for the 906.I looked all over that page, found all the 900 series manuals except the 906, but didn't think to download the 900 manual. There's even a 1 page hookup diagram in the 900 service folder.But what's the other card doing. And which one? So now I'm still a little stumped again. If you figure it out, let me know. When the module is in Double mode this output is a mix of the input (dry) signal and the long delay output. I had a rough time trying to figure this out from the schematic, which is on 3 separate pages. I believe the above info is correct, but wouldn't bet my life on it. Consider that the 906 has only one analog delay IC in the the Flange section (which has a fixed 4ms delay time), and one analog delay IC in the Double section (which has a much longer, adjustable delay time). The DBX 903 is the classic DBX 160 style compressor. With over easy compression. These are the ultimate drum, and bass compressor. Need your drums to be punchy and hit you in the gut, these are the compressors that do that thing. They have the perfect attack and release setting for punchy drums that cut through a crowded mix.The 903's unique features make it possible to achieve even large amounts of compression without undesirable side effects. Normal program dynamics are heard until the input level rises above a pre-set threshold-at which point the gain suddenly begins to be reduced by a fixed ratio. There is no sudden alteration of dynamics. The compressed program sounds natural-even with relatively large amounts of gain reduction. At settings beyond ?:1, the 903 actually reduces the output signal whenever the input level exceeds the threshold setting. With Infinity Condition: The meter on one of the de-esser units is not working right. But the unit still works as it should, and sounds great as a de-esser.
