dam red rooster manualWant to push your valve amplifier into natural overdrive. Create valve overload at low volume settings. Need a treble booster, a bass booster, and a multi purpose full frequency old school flavoured solo booster. Does all of the above and some. Works wonders in zinging up muddy sounding fuzz boxes and will make weak or low output guitar pick-ups warmer, more dynamic and fuller bodied.I like Black Sabbath.a lot. I heard years ago Tony used to use this crusty old effect from the early 1960's called the Dallas Rangemaster. The Rangemaster was a treble booster that came in a funky little folded steel desk top style enclosure. It had no footswitch or any means to control the frequency, just had a single control pot for the amount volume boost. Original Rangemasters are very scarce at the best of times, cost an absolute bloody fortune and are, to be honest, usually in need of some improvement for use in a modern day scenario. Modified to do what I did and do not know. Kinda made sense to me that more gain and a tunable filter or frequency control would be smart way of stepping into the sonic realms of the dark master. I made my simple improvements (circa 2003) on the original circuit and built them into a sexy little red box. Enter the Red Rooster and its plan: The Rooster is totally removed from the guitars signal when in bypass mode, it will not bleed through and dull your guitars original tone. It also means it is well suited to either single coil or humbucking pick-ups of varying output and gain levels. The RR-10 can be considered as an additional gain stage to your amplifier given that the tonal output delivered is of such purity and a high degree of clarity.Begin your session with both the “RANGE” and the “BOOST” controls set at the minimum position. Activate the RR-10 with the onboard bypass selector switch and slowly increase the “BOOST” dial.http://www.ssu.kiev.ua/admin/fckeditor/editor/filemanager/connectors/php/userfiles/evantair-evaporative-cooler-manual.xml

This will enable you to match your active sound to your bypassed sound or at higher settings to be able to push the signal into natural clipping and into overdrive. Using the onboard bypass selector switch you can now toggle back and forth from the active effect to your clean guitar signal. Please note: it is a totally normal function for the “BOOST” control to crackle slightly as it is adjusted. The RR-10 offers further control of the boosted audio signal via the use frequency shaping with the on-board “RANGE” control. Intense treble, full range and extended bass tones can be easily acquired from the simple rotation of this dial. The RR-10 is also perfectly suited to instruments with either single coil or humbucking pick-ups of varying output and gain levels. Power can also be supplied by means of an external well-regulated 9- volt power supply fitted with a 2.1mm plug and operating with a negative centre and positive sleeve. Stocked with three different algorithms specifically designed to invoke textures for bringing dreams from your subconscious to reality. X knob sets the level of a -1 octave signal that feeds the reverb. Don't rush it. Let it breathe and gently wake up. X knob sets the amount of time it takes the reverb to swell in after a note is played. Set lower for shorter rise times and higher for longer rise times. Press the sustain switch to latch signal. Experiment with the X knob to add vibrato over the pad. Press sustain again and pad will decrescendo according to where decay knob is set. X knob sets the depth of vibrato applied to the reverb trail. Releasing the switch turns the effect off, and fades it out. In the “Dream” algorithm, the sustain switch is latching. Press it once to capture and sustain the current reverb decay for extremely long pad-like sounds. Press it again to let the reverb trail taper off, based on the position of the decay knob. In trails mode, when you turn the pedal off, the reverb decay dies off naturally.http://oecschool.com/userfiles/evantair-oil-heater-manual.xml In no trails mode, the decay is abruptly cut off when you turn the pedal off. To toggle between either mode, hold down the bypass switch for 1 second while applying power to the pedal. Unplug power and repeat to toggle to the other mode. Daisy chain power supplies are not recommended. Power supply not included. We know what it takes to make an instrument sound like it’s been professionally recorded. We know how to make your guitar jump from the mix. We know how to make it fun and easy to play. Keeley Compression is how. The Keeley Compressor Plus is the first true advancement in our 2 and 4 knob compressor line. The new features are simple and straight forward. Now there is a simple Release Switch that is tuned for single coils or humbuckers. No more wondering if you have the attack or release set right. Your humbuckers will have all the attack and punch that they should. Our team designed a gorgeous sounding Tone Control that emphasizes the most sensitive harmonics that can be lost in compression. The Compressor Plus now sports a Blend Control that retains the peaks in your playing and more importantly the proper phasing of your guitar signal. The Keeley Compressor Plus offers the same gorgeous push of frequencies and sweetening of tone that the old comps gave you, now with the flexibility to handle any instrument. Not only does it act as a regular compressor, limiting the peaks in your playing, it adds more and more gain as notes fade out. Now you have sustain. Nothing worse that a note or a bend that has died before it’s time; the Keeley Compressor Plus adds just the right amount of sustain and expressive bloom to your notes. Humbuckers have more average energy than single coils and this can cause compressors to stay in “compression mode” for a lot longer. This can make any series of notes you play sound dull. With the quick release of the new Compressor Plus, your humbuckers stay true sounding and each note retains attack and definition. Those effects used an emphasis circuit to recover treble and highs after they went through the BBD or other analog delay lines. We took that circuit and made it into a full fledged tone control. We found that it was the perfect way to gently add back in highs lost in the compression process. So if you want sustain more than peak-limiting, this style of Manhattan Compression is for you. Keep all the peaks and transients with the Blend and Tone Controls while adding sustain on the back end. Heaven! The new Compressor Plus is for players wanting a smooth, subtle wash from their guitar. Remove just the right amount of peaks for an ambient layer and then blend in the right amount of treble for a nice shimmer to your guitar. Use with your favorite fuzz to create a wall of tone like you’ve only heard on records. Looping has never been easier than with this compressor. Consider it an essential tool when creating loops that sound well balanced. Forget it all and use the Compressor Plus for the best amp boost you’ve heard. Nothing pushes an amp better than the Keeley Compressor Plus. Chief Engineer and founder Robert Keeley said, “Compression was the first effect I found that was hard to make sound good off the shelf, so I set out to create the best sounding compression effect possible.” We have it down to a science but still treat it like art. Since it is at the core of what we do, we can offer it for an incredible price now. The Keeley Compressor Plus is completely made in the United States. Come by our shop and watch the magic happen. We didn’t just start making compressors to look good alongside co-branded coffee mugs and shirts and hats. Add the Compressor Plus to your rig, you and your guitar will be singing for days. With the Drive and Presence controls set to minimum, and the Level at around 2 o'clock, you should be hard pressed to hear any change in the sound at all when you switch the Hotcake in and out. You can get a clean volume boost by increasing the Level control. Increasing the Drive will give you a thick distortion sound with a little bit of edge to it, and the Presence control adds some mid-range punch to the sounds. The Hotcake also handles chords well. It is recommended that the Hotcake is patched between the guitar and amplifier, rather than into an amplifier's effect loop. Generally speaking, if you are happy with your guitar and amplifier combination, the Hotcake will work well as a primary distortion. It features Keeley’s analog style tape delay with modulation options. The 650ms of warm delay combine with Spring, Shimmer or Modulated Reverb. Now with True-Bypass or Trails option. Because of its small and compact design, the New Caverns is a perfect fit for any fly-rig or small board where you have tight space requirements. The New V2 features Keeley’s most popular time-based effects, blended perfectly and fine-tuned over 2 years. It will be an amazing addition to any board. Three way switchable modulation gives you options for adding Wow and Flutter to the repeats. Perfectly voiced echoes sit in the mix well, either clean or with distortion. Our buffers are engineered to retain your tone and feed your amplifier a full strength signal. Keeley’s veteran crew builds the most reliable and road-worthy gear. Does anyone have either.I used with my 18 watter a DAM Red Rooster, really cool pedalbut my preference is the Tone Man Range Master. Long discontinued, I have hoarded these and at onetime had 5 but alas, I am down to one due to finances. And its not going ANYWHERE!Why not hedge your bets and get a BYOC TriBoost. This is one of my all time favourites. You get a clean boost, LPB and a range switchable Rangemaster in one true bypass pedal. The status LED even changes color indicating the current mode. Highly recommended. Why not hedge your bets and get a BYOC TriBoost. Highly recommended. I can solder, If it's too hard, I could get my tech to build it. I'll look in to it, thank you.All the same it's easy to medium level if you're interested. Also the Ge tyranny is pocketed so you can swap it out later if you feel like tweaking it. Good luck whatever you choose. All the same it's easy to medium level if you're interested. Good luck whatever you choose. I've also kept the Dallas Rangemaster Replica by JMI just because it looks so cool but I rarely ever use it. The Beano Boost has three great setting and really does the trick. Be ready for some pronounced feedback at times and allot more hiss in your amp. But, if you get in the right spot and hit a note you can get that E.C. Beano unstoppable sustain.I've also kept the Dallas Rangemaster Replica by JMI just because it looks so cool but I rarely ever use it. I bought a CV7003 transistor from Small Bear. They tested it and included the proper valu resistors to set the bias. It was faily cheap, easy to build and sounds great! In the end though I thought it was great I ended up with a Bad Bob Boost and was so happy I found a second one as fast as I could. Boosts all frequencies very nicely and gives a very desireable presence. AnalogMan will build you one or you can look around or place a WTB ad like I did. I got quick replies to both of my ads. I should add that the Beano works best when you don't have to watch your colume level if you want to drive it hard. Works very well at lower levels too but it is different than cranked. I found good value in low volume applications though in amps that are darker than most such as a tweed that's dark (certainly not all of the are) it increases it's brilliance and presence. Another quality of the Bad Bob is that it is much better with my Sunface than the Beano Boost was.My amp tech is going to build me one. I tried his prototype and was blown away. But thanks for the guidance. My advice? Make sure the pedal has the features you want such as true bypass and perhaps range switching then be prepared to try a lot of different trannies in it.Hands down worth it. This pedal changed me as a pedal guy. AMAZING pedal.Hands down worth it. AMAZING pedal. Hands down worth it. AMAZING pedal. Such a charactearistic sound into a Vox, Marshall, Orange, Hiwatt etc. Rory, Blackmore, May, Clapton, Iommi. They all used that circuit at one point or another. Go for it! you wont regretIf he is, I'll buy things from him.If he is, I'll buy things from him. There's some other stuff I want. After nearly half a year research, I ended up, ordering one from Analogman (MIKE) directly - and all I can say: The only Pedal I will never let go between my 1974x and my Les Paul.Les Paul starts at 11:55. LOVE IT! Les Paul starts at 11:55. LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing. This pedal likes to go into an amp that is breaking up a little bit, which the 1974x does very well. If you're interested I can make a (cell phone) video, just tell me what you would want to see played and how you set your controls; just let me know.It gives a great clean boost, while fattening and warming the tone ever so slightly. Really enhances my tone nicely. I'm thinking about getting a second to try as a solo boost too. I can't recommend this little fellow enough. Posted with It has been setting for quite a few years and will need a proper oiling or greasing. It does work. The bail catch is sluggish in catching the bail and will need oiled. The Friden had an elementary reversing drive between the body of the machine and the accumulator dials, so its main shaft always rotated in the same direction. The Swiss MADAS was similar. The Monroe, however, reversed direction of its main shaft to subtract.Others were limited to 600 cycles per minute, because their accumulator dials started and stopped for every cycle; Marchant dials moved at a steady and proportional speed for continuing cycles. Most Marchants had a row of nine keys on the extreme right, as shown in the photo of the Figurematic. These simply made the machine add for the number of cycles corresponding to the number on the key, and then shifted the carriage one place. Even nine add cycles took only a short time. They engaged drive gears in the body of the machine, which rotated them at speeds proportional to the digit being fed to them, with added movement (reduced 10:1) from carries created by dials to their right. At the completion of the cycle, the dials would be misaligned like the pointers in a traditional watt-hour meter. However, as they came up out of the dip, a constant-lead disc cam realigned them by way of a (limited-travel) spur-gear differential. As well, carries for lower orders were added in by another, planetary differential. (The machine shown has 39 differentials in its (20-digit) accumulator!). The great majority of basic calculator mechanisms move the accumulator by starting, then moving at a constant speed, and stopping. In particular, stopping is critical, because to obtain fast operation, the accumulator needs to move quickly. Variants of Geneva drives typically block overshoot (which, of course, would create wrong results). Each rack has a drive pin that is moved by the slot. For each keyboard digit, a sliding selector gear, much like that in the Leibniz wheel, engages the rack that corresponds to the digit entered. Of course, the accumulator changes either on the forward or reverse stroke, but not both.
