The download from DSCallards is a zip file called SAP-Crystal-Reports-2016.zip and the download is an ftp site. In most cases your browser will download this file without issue. If there are problems downloading the file, then you need to check with your network team. We have seen ftp downloads disabled and IP address issues in the past, but it is always an issue at the customer end. These files are not secure or protected by DSCallards they are simple file downloads from an open ftp site. When the file download has completed, (see above for Edge) go to the location where your file has beendownloaded. Be very careful here because Windows can make the zip file appear as a folder to those who are not used to this, and therefore can appear as if the file is unzipped already. It is NOT. For example in the following screenshot I have selected the zip file itself and not the folder and you can see that the contents of the single zip file appear as a set of folders and files on your drive. They are NOT. You now need to un-compress this single file into the installation files ready for the install. Once the compressed file has finished extracting you will have a folder that contains the files ready for installing Crystal Reports. This extracted set of files is an image of a CD so you need to drill down through the folders to find the installation file. Otherwise Windows will possibly produce an error message. When the full productkey is purchased, you do not need to uninstall Crystal Reports and reinstall.This is the full product. There is no problem with installation of Crystal Reports, it was successfully installed, but reports were not working. After some debugging and research, I realized that the problem was Assemblies versions and some missing files. Due to CR Documentations. Replacing all CR References with new versions, fixed assembly problem. There was also a problem with CR Runtime 32-bit version. Before I was installing just 64-bit version, installing both 32,and 64-bit versions fixed missing file problem. Hope this helps.
