The saw table can be extended to either the left or the right almost 3'(!) and has a measure gauge to accommodate either direction. It has a crosscut sled that also does miters which is also removable and stores on the back side of the saw. I didn't like this thing as much because it was kind of a pain. In storage it would block the exit hole and back it up with sawdust. I built a crosscut sled of my own. It offers more variation even though it doesn't stow away with the saw. Even so, though the one you get with it is very functional. My wheels wore out, but they were inefficient anyway, so I replaced them with superior, larger ones. I also ordered a second router table for it, which I leave in place opposite the router one. This vastly increases the table space, doubles the number of track slots and better yet, if you put a feather board in one of its slots, you can just slide the whole table over to your piece of wood instead of re-adjusting the feather board for every cut. It takes less than a second. Just flip the lever to release, slide it snug and flip the lever back. Show me another saw that does that. Blades and tools store on the left side. A lever and crank switch from height adjustment to angle adjustment. The throat plate is steel, but it doesn't take much skill to crank out a bunch of zero clearance wood ones. It may sound like I've highlighted weak points and there are, admittedly, a few. The wheels and the crosscut sled I mentioned. I also wore out the plastic wedge that secures the router table. But the things this saw allows are unlike any other, and I'm just happy to see that this is available, should anything happen to mine. I would HATE to have to downgrade. Having recently added a fence extension to mine that accepts feather boards for downward pressure, it's now indispensable for routing, ripping or cross cutting. And there was room to add a mount for all my feather boards for storage. For its faults, I should take off one star, but even so, this thing deserves all five.Do not recommend.
