This camera is very small and light weight. It takes nice sharp pictures. I'm upgrading from a Canon Powershot S330. When I compare it to my old Canon it is like the Nikon is underwater. I've only had it for a day so there may be some work around. It is easy to use and faster than the Canon. Video mode is pretty nice- one feature I found very cool is a time-lapse video mode: Set the camera up and it will take a picture every 30s (1m,5m, etc.) and add it as a frame to a.mov file. I can't wait to find a nice flower to open for me. Recording sound is a cool feature too. The S330 seemed to have more manual controls, perhaps I just haven't found them yet on the 3700. I don't think the 3700 has long shutter settings (S330 had up to 15s), no manual ISO setting, and no AC power in. (You have to buy an additional accessory) Considering it is 3.2mp, smaller, lighter, faster, has a better screen, and cost me about half as much I am very pleased with this camera. Problems: Nothing other than the cold pictures- it may just take some getting used to. The auto focus makes a small clicking sound which are picked up when recording videos. It can be turned off. It includes updates to Panasonic's DFD autofocus system, creative photo modes, and video features that come close to matching the more expensive S1H. 248 Nikon Z5 initial review review Sep 1, 2020 at 13:00 Nikon's new entry-level mirrorless full-framer feels anything but entry-level.
