With the PSU at the bottom, hiding extra cables up behind the motherboard is a cinch, without the headaches of trying to tuck away cables that want to hang down in a typical case. All the power cables with my TruePowerII 550 worked great with the case. Since the PSU is at the bottom and a mesh intake at the bottom of the case, a thick carpet could be an issue, but that is easily bypassed as the PSU plate is reversable, and I just mounted by PSU 'upside down.' UPDATE: I just bought an Aerocool ZERODBA modular 620W PSU, and all the power leads reached without any hassle or trouble. Quiet PSU, looks really great, and the sleeved cables are surprisingly flexible. CONS: The manual is pathetic. FYI - right and left is referenced from looking at the item or case head on from the front. Noted by other owners, installing expansion cards can be a hassle. The 'tongues' on the end of the expansion card bracket must be worked into a slot that secures the opposite end from the thumbscrew. Needless to say, the slot could stand to be a bit wider. The cards will go in, but it takes patience and care. Once in, they are very secure. Would hate to have to change them out frequently though. However, maybe with use the slots would loosen up. Strange note: the majority of the case is steel frame, however, the side panels are a nice brushed aluminum. The top is painted black. Why not make the top brushed aluminum as well. Stupid, but only noticeable in a brightly lit room and up close to the case. I am thinking of modding the top to put in a 120mm blowhole. The 4-3 device module doesn't dampen drive noise well because only the device is isolated by rubber grommets and not the individual drives.http://globallawdirectories.com/drivers-manual-ky-2015.xml

So drive noise can still be an issue. I also removed the 120mm grills at the back to get better airflow. Overall, I am really pleased with the case. I like the look, and the size really isn't that bad. To be perfect, this thing could be fully aluminum like the 830, but the 830 has that love it or hate it look with a stupid front door. I wish CM would have forgone the 830 and just made an all aluminum version of this case. Now that would have been perfect. Oh well, I still like the 810, and its cooling is wonderful. BTW -- The side panels are interchangeable as well, though you will need to remove the side panel fan bracket (using an allen wrench). I did this because my case has the left side up against my desk (I wanted it flush) and by swapping the panels, the case pulls more air through the front, cooling my drives better (as they are now passively cooled by the Zalman coolers). I'm not fond of doors either, some folks like'em and that's why they offer the 830. I'll remember the 810..Galvanized I went with the Chenbro and love it, but I think eventually I'll pick one of these babies up. I love the look and it seems very flexible. I am not into watercooling, but also check out the original Stacker in regards to such a setup: The original differs from the 810 in that has the option to mount two PSUs. You lose the second 120mm exhaust fan of the 810, but if you still mount the PSU on the bottom, you have the upper PSU cage to mount pumps and such in. The backplate covers of the PSU feature the option to mount two 80mm fans on them so instead of having the two 120mm exhaust fans of the 810, the original Stacker (with a bottem mounted PSU) can be configured with a rear exhaust fan setup of one 120mm plus two 80mm. These cases are really flexible in terms of setup, and I am surprised at how much I really enjoy having a big case. Lots of room to work in. The extra width though, is a plus for hiding cabling and wiring.http://www.intesaleasing.ru/userfiles/drivers_manual_in_russian_language.xml You can also purchase windows for these as well: The only drawback to this case (versus the Chenbro) is the lack of top-mounted carrying handles.I see that you painted the interior of the case black as well, nice look. Your setup is a great example of how the T01 is better suited to a watercooling system, while the 810 is probably better configured for air. For myself, I love the simplicity of aircooling. I like the T01's dual power supply capability, but going by the pictures in the Xbit review, the connector for linking the power supplies only seems to work on 20 pin models, so the 810's second 120mm fan may be more useful. Also, does the 810 support the crossflow fan addon. Also, does the BTX feature on the T01 allow you to use an inverted ATX layout, like some of the Lian Li cases? Mine had nothing wrong with it at all. I've got an entire WC setup inside with a BIX III. Good airflow, upgradeability, and did I mention roomy. Please try again later. Please try again later. Amazon Customer 1.0 out of 5 stars Furthermore, the instructions on how to install or use it are the worst I've ever seen. Oh, by the way, the motherboard tray is not removable either. Of all of the many cases that I have bought (at least 5 in the last 10 years), this is the first one that makes me feel ripped-off. I would RMA this, but it weighs so much that its not worth paying for the shipping or the effort of lugging to a shipper, so I'm just going to keep it and not use it. I was very disapointed that this case was not what it was represented to be. I have been told that the case is good for those who want to use water cooling, as it has space for that. But read some of the comments in the CM forum before buying this. Please try again later. Please try again later. Casey H 5.0 out of 5 stars My previous case was a Antec Lanboy and i kid you not the Lanboy fit inside of this case in the motherboard spot. On the plus side all the room makes for an easy install. The fans that come with it (3x120mm and 1x80mm) arn't very effective so if you think you will need better cooloing you might want to buy fans for it (it fits 3x120mm and 2x80mm fans). The tool-less drive bay stuff is interesting, took a while for me to figure out exacly how it works as the manual for it is poor. Now that i have done it once i could put all my drives in in less than 5 min but originally it took me and a friend about 45 min. The removable mobo tray is ok, kind of a pain to take out, so i just left it, you have plenty of room around it (at least 6 inches of free space on top and side). Everyplace where air can come in has a washable filter to keep your system dust free. Out of the box it can fit 4 hd's in its 4 in 3 holder, but if you ned you can buy more. This case has amazing air flow. Please try again later. Please try again later. Zanderfull 5.0 out of 5 stars This case is a serious case, I upgraded from a mid tower to this, so I could fit all of my hard drives. Over all this thing can fit 12 hard drives with 2 DVD drives installed, you just have to buy some holding cases for the inside. As for the guy saying that he buys 5 cases a year and isn't even going to use this one, well he needs to do his research. As I said if your considering it already you've done your research you know that this cases motherboard try doesn't come out. You know that you need to buy a 4-3 module to install your hard drives. It already comes with one, that will fit 4 hard drives in it, so this would only be in issue for people with more then 4 hard drives, in that case your probably will to pay out the extra money to add another 120mm fan to cool them with. Someone who is running a server would probably want them extra fans. The cross flow fan you can buy for it is also cool, but if you have some big video cards it can get in the way and kind of be a hassle, but if your patient and are willing to arrange your wires and everything you can get it to work out. Plus my 4-3 module was missing some of the blue bushings, called coolmaster and they shipped them out the same day, got them the next night, super service. To finish I'd just like to say once again what a great case this is, and that so far I've had it for about a month and have 8 hard drives in it and its running smooth and cool, I recommend this case to anyone that needs a great case and needs the space. Please try again later. The IEEE 1394 interface is a serial bus interface standard for high-speed communications and isochronous real-time data transfer. It was developed in the late 1980s and early 1990s by Apple, who called it FireWire. The 1394 interface is comparable to USB though USB has more market share. Apple first included FireWire in some of its 1999 models, and most Apple computers since the year 2000 have included FireWire ports, though, as of 2013, only the 800 version (IEEE-1394b). The actual Open Box product may differ in packaging and included accessories, but has been tested to ensure basic functionality. ATX and everything fit perfect. Lots of extra parts. Heavy duty cables. First class. There's a lot of space inside, especially for drives. I bought an extra HDD cage. It is reasonably quite, even with 4 120 fans, and one 80. I placed the top fan in the side panel. This case is very well ventilated - perhaps too well, making airflow management difficult in some situations. They cannot be run in a clean manner, even with the mATX board I started with. Removing the front bay covers is difficult from the front, and you can't get to them from inside the case if you fill the case with HDD cages. The side fan holder should be sized for a 120 fan, or larger. The case blocks the large fan of my PSU. I like the PSU being on the bottom, but it blocks some of the fan. I doubt it will be an issue, but that sheetmetal should be removed. It will soon have 3 HDD cages (12 drives) and that leaves 2 open bays - one for a optical, and one for a floppy. I'd like to also have a front fan controller, and second optical drive.Good ventilation, not too noisy. Modular hot swap backplanes fit nicely, and even when deep, don't interfere. 120 mm fans are reasonably quiet (but I'm used to noisy, so who knows). This version has power at the bottom. This allows for larger power supplies, and works nicely compared to some of the ones that fit at the top.I ended up filing down those edges and a few others. I too found that the alignment of the motherboard with the back expansion slots was not so great. The main problem is that the blank tabs for filling unused slots are made of a thin metal, and the actual metal brackets on video cards and other real world expansions. A small screwdriver very slightly expanding the slot that the brackets fit into near the motherboard will save a lot of swearing.this is where they hang up when trying to insert expansion cards. Don't expand them much, or it'll be worse.expand them all very slightly before starting, and it'll go much nicer.Once you understand how it works, it's actually a good idea.but it was not implemented well, it uses cheap plastic, which falls off while trying to put the drive components in. The flaw is that these are thermal insulators.if these cheap tabs had been made of aluminum, they'd be a really nice idea. On the other hand, normal screw holes are also provided, and there is no requirement to use the quick release. Also, every front drive panel has a filter to keep out dust.To get the hard drive caddy out, you have to remove a bunch of them (it slides out the front). However, life is so much nicer with some extra room in the case.If you purchase 2 additional 4-in-3 modules, you can fit 12 hard drives plus a DVD and a floppy drive. No support for BTX motherboards, single power supply mounting location. After receiving the wrong color, I decided to research the differences between the models and post them.Plenty of room to work with and tool-less drive bays work well. Good quality wheels make it easy to move around. I love that the USB ports are on the top of the case. Not a big deal for most people I guess but I needed two because i use a fan controller and a 3.5 floppy drive for loading RAID drivers. Case is a bit heavy but I expected that.I used this case in a gaming rig I built for my uncle, and he has loved it since laying eyes on it. The mesh drive bay covers and other vents really look amazing when coupled with CCFLs or any other lights. I highly recommend this case to anyone who is looking to build a cool running as well as a cool looking rig. Cooler Master does it again with a high quality, visually stunning case.Just turn down your fans when not in use and it purrs like a kitten.Sturdy, Spacious, Stylish and Elegant. It took a day of working with it to realize the excellence of this case's engineering and design. It has plenty of room, useful features, and installation is a snap. You get great airflow, and lots of room for water cooling if you go that route. It even has space for a second PSU to power your ELEVEN drive bays. It is BIG.It's also heavy, but they give you coaster footings if you need to move it around. I'm not sure if I'll be able to fit a CM Cross Flow Fan in there after adding the MSI MoBo and 8800GTS.It's pricey, but well worth it. Although I haven't finished putting it all together, it shows a ton of promise, and my confidence in CM is still going up. NewEgg's Price is Unbeatable. I just wish they sold the add-ons.Click here for more details. Secure shopping made faster. Check out with PayPal. You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. The A8N-SLI and Stacker manuals show that the connectors are 100 matched BUT the problem is that Cooler Master has changed the connector so that it is no longer compatible. I scanned the documents so that you can see what I am talking about. Click on the picture for close-up view. The first picture is a scan of page 2-29 of Asus A8N-SLI Premium motherboard manual. The second picture is scan of page 8 of Cooler Master Stacker 810 manual. Close up of second picture. Notice that it matches the Asus connections perfectly. The third picture is a scan of a sheet of paper that was in the Stacker box. Close up of third picture. The connections have totally changed. Why did CM do this!?! It was fine before. If the Stacker DOES have wires in those two slots, it's rather easy to switch the wires in the plug. Of course, there's always the chance that the case will have single pin plugs that you'll have to match up yourself. You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. It comes with 6 different kinds of screws and the manual does not tell me which screws is for what purpose. I recognize a couple of them. These are pretty common. Thank you for your help. Regards, Lawrence Please see the attached picture.AFAIK, they are just extras. I'm going to proceed assuming that these did not change for Stacker 810. So there you have it. Thanks for your help. The actual Open Box product may differ in packaging and included accessories, but has been tested to ensure basic functionality. The module has the power and reset buttons, status LEDs, a FireWire port, audio ports and 6 USB ports. The full mesh front panel lets the fans work at maximum efficiency. A set of casters keeps the case up off the ground for all over airflow, and makes it easier to move. It is a great choice for use in cases like this with 8 SATA connectors, 6 Molex connectors and 2 floppy drive connectors. It also has 6 PCIe connectors, four 6-pin and two 8-pin so you'll have power for your video cards and tomorrow’s add on cards. It would not be my case for choice if I was looking for a hotswappable raid setup or a mission critical server, but for most home power users, gamers, or even non-critical data arrays it is good. If you really want to fill a case with drives then this is the best case on the market for that. The fact that you have tons of room in this case is a luxury that can't be overstated. The case is resembles the monolith from 2001, unfortunately with only 3 pages of cryptic and useless instructions you feel like the monkeys in that movie trying to put it together. On the up note the case comes in a good shipping box and with plenty of hardware. Fans are exceptionally quiet but don't push much air. In all it's a good for those seeking lotsa room. The entire case is STEEL, with the exception of the front bezel and the two side doors, this makes it quite heavy. Don't expect to transport this case much. As noted by others the fan in the factory 4 - 3 drive array can't be used if you want to install a floppy in it, even though the instructions show you doing this. Even with the toolless clips the manual shows you inserting screws so it's not really tooless. Without the screws you may get some vibration. All the plastic rails to hold the devices have screws in them for the 5.25' drives but there are no holes on the 4-3 modules so you'll either have to drill and tap those or just exist with those pieces of plastic annoyingly falling out everytime you remove a drive module. Whats worse is they have a special alignment. Why didn't they drill those holes so you could do this on the factory 4 in 3 cage. Unfortunately there is Poor design and implementation on much of the case. The brushed black alumnum probably seemed like a good idea in a clean room, but if you touch it with your fingers or anything it marks instantly. Lucky it cleans off, but a smooth finish would have been better then brushed. The single lighted fan seems like an afterthought or gimmick. I don't see a professional wanting this, and if they were marketing to gamers why didn't they do the other two rear fans. For as cheap as the internal 4 in 3 HDD cage is they really should have included 2 instead of just 1. The bit about the black plastic rails not aligning with ANY screw holes on the STANDARD 4-3 INCLUDE CAGE is really dissapointing!Lots of fans. Good airflow. I am using it for a data recovery machine.I'd have to say my favorite part is the weight of this beast. It makes me feel like I have a tank on the side of my desk waiting to blast through people's VPNs and Firewalls (legally). Nice power supply too.Not too fun to carry to a LAN if you get what I'm saying. It wasn't even holding anything together; appeared to me like someone got bored at the factory and just put a few pieces of tape on the inside. It sure makes it easier to move a heavy aluminum full tower aroundPlenty of room for anything you want to throw at it (or I mean into it!). It is flat on the top so you can set a router up there if you like, just don't block the exhuast fan there. The case has a nice finish and if kept clean from dust has a very nice look (All my components are black and it gathers quite a few comments when noticed. Covers are easily removed for quick access, one with a window for peering into the computer guts which depending on your build could be quite the talk. Comes with a hugh hard drive bay fan for those more typical setups (read my other thoughts below about removable hard drives). It also includes an 850w power supply with multiple rails. Perfect for those more advanced builds that have a higher load. At the rear of the case are two monster fans for exhausting warmed over air.It is deeper than a typical full tower but I don't consider this a con myself.Air cooling has not been an issue using this case at all. It's huge enough to fit all of my goodies like my GTX260 and Zalman 9500A. So much better than that dung heap Sunbeam TRIO IC-TRIO-US-BK case I have been using for the last 2 years. Tons of fans! I replaced the poop fans that came with this case with 3 APEVIA CF12SL-UBL 120mm fans that have far superior air flow characteristics. This case is soooo much quieter that my old dung heap sunbeam case. Comes with wheels to keep you mobile. Another nice feature about the wheels is that you could enter your cat into a soap box derby. He'll have more than enough room to maneuver inside this spacious case while careening down the hill toward victory or blunt force trauma. The power supply has so many connectors that it's almost ridiculous. I have never seen such an insane assortment of connectors on a single power supply. If I heard someone foolish enough to say that there wasn't enough connectors on this PSU, I seriously might slap them right then and there. It dominates everything in its presents (presence was deliberately spelled wrong because seeing all living things cower before it is like getting presents!) If you want a case that has superman like air flow, a case with a sweet PSU that has more arms than a bunch of giant squids combine, and a case that can handedly defeat your enemies, then this case IS FOR YOU. If you want a case to put your elderly Athlon XP CPU and mobo in, a case without a window on it so it'll look better when you paint it pink, or a case that follows the rules, then this case IS NOT FOR YOU. Each and every piece of hardware that goes into this case has to dominate If you want to get the most out of this cooler master case, that's just common sense people! You totally get more than what you paid for. Just TRY and find a case and power supply deal this good.If your not all that interested in illuminating that space under your desk, this is your case.
