Hold the remote in fr ont of the cup with the t op up, and as you ho ld it, ro tate it about 20.If you feel resistance when you insert the remote into the cup, pull the remote ho usi ng and ch ec k tha t the ca ble h as be en pres se d in to t he curved s lot, a s describ ed in Step 2). 12. Gr asp an d turn the r emot e to th e r ight until it is in the corre ct position. 5. Insert the r emote control fully into the cup so that the mounting hooks go t h r ough t h e slo t s in t he back of the cup. If your installation is one in which the cable is exiting out the bottom of the housing ( NOT the back), as you i nsert th e r e mot e mod ul e pul l th e c ab le do wn gently so it do es not int erfere with the insertion of the re mote into the cup. 4. Hold the remote in fr ont of the cup with the top up, and as you hold it, rotate it about 20. If you are going to ru n the cable out the bottom relief hol e and o ut along the mounting surface, skip this step. If you feel resistance when you insert th e re mo te in to th e cu p, pu ll the r em ot e housing out and check that the cable has b ee n pr essed in to th e curved s lo t, as described in Step 3).
