You can have everything from a funky sound to the perfect imitation of a Marshall 1959 head with a slight OD.http://www.bosport.be/newsletter/bosch-logixx-8-washing-machine-service-manual I really like those old rock overdrives and distortions and there are a lot of them too. You won't have to worry the sounds won't fit you, there will some you don't like, but most are very decent. It also has a very nice tuner. You can find almost every function of the little pedals packed and stacked in this one. Well sometimes the thing jams (very rarely though) and i haven't figured out yet why Also when you buy this kind of thing second handed, please ask if they still have the manual, or else it won't be easy. This review was originally published on Did you find this review helpful? yes no. I first played through one at band practice, after the bass player's brother brought it over to try it out. The versatility was beyond my expectations. Some may complain about the unit not being capable of warm, true tube-like tones, but for me, it had all the sound and responsiveness I could have wanted. The JC-120 preset was almost perfect. Great swirling chorus tone. Throw single-effect pedals into the effects loop, and you can dial up any tone you can, or even, can't imagine. Everyone in our band loves the thing. Line it straight into the mixer, and you're good to go. Even the acoustic simulator seems to sound pretty good, since most of those units are hopeless to my ears. Editing the presets can become cumbersome. Keep the manual. You will need it. Navigating through all the buttons can get tedious and might start to get confusing. I have never tried the MIDI features, so I don't know how that would work. Figuring out how to set the wah pedal to to it's job was difficult, if not impossible in some cases. All-metal chassis has stood up to my stomping, which is a good thing since I weigh about 300 lbs. The input level pot needs to be cleaned or replaced, since it has developed a few dropout spots. Still, an easy repair. I have'nt gone through all the presets yet, so I am still unaware of all it's sonic capabilities. So far the unit has performed admirably.http://condit-pack.com/images/boss-gt-5-manual.pdf I have used it to record a few demos, and no one has mentioned any flaws in the guitar's tone or sound. In particular I wanted better light overdrive sounds and better quality effects than the rp-12 could give External effects loop. I can throw whatever pedal I want into the effects chain. Programable effects order - add delays before distortion if you want, wah after distortion, etc.Boss also gives you a lot of flexibility with the EQ. EQ settings are found in the amp simultar effect, in place of a modulation effect and as a global effect. They also gave a lot of different phaser sounds, but since I'm not a phaser guy I can't really comment on how useable they all are. Another appreciated addition is a trim knob next to the guitar input.Lots of gimmick effects like ring modulation that over 99 of the people who buy this will never use. What you can get are very sterile, solid state sounding distortions. The pedals also feel like they're not going anywhere. If you don't use lots of wah, and you already have a nice sounding amp this should give all the effects and flexibility you will need. But if you're like me (playing through small practice amps and PA systems), this will not give nice organic tube-ish guitar sounds. SOUND QUALITY N'tant not a fan of multi-effects, but many of my old sr GP8, I have no such purchase prdisposait: finnalement and is a favorite that I have a friend from bothering APRS sell me his test. Obviously he did not want that big marmoset but few hours later I was in business for 130 fdp on the internet. Small precision all the same: I do not use the function Pramper nor simultaneous HP.Synths, if you're lucky enough to find the right rglages of sensitivity can PROVE very nice, and I use them more often than I would have imagined.https://verkoop-je-wagen.be/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626edd441afdd---bosch-phg-500-2-manual.pdfThe reverb is trsdcevante cons, she works well (haha) but Reveals the limits of processing power of the camera: prfrez him a small tip Lexicon Alex, you'll gain in class The acoustic simulator is going to say recess, innutilisable. OVERALL OPINION I use it now for 10 months, ILM is part of my set, much to the astonishment of my friends and the public sometimes surprised to hear a vintage sound and c'te bebte see my feet. In addition to the possibility of enormous contrle MIDI, and you can very well connect two external contleurs plus two of the unit, assign what you want and control Ableton Live by example. The standard black dot, and I never understood how they could dare to have is the absence of Controller ls to change channels from the amp.Since there is no ideal pdalier, like this some very good effects and great possibilities of contrle yes I would do this choice. Waiting for the MPX-G2 ) 4 of 4 people found this review helpful Did you find this review helpful? yes no. The patches are usually recoverable and editable via MIDI, but the editor only works with certain versions of firmware and did not work with mine. Regarding the MIDI, the GT offers an opportunity to control an external MIDI controller that can tamper with the live sound by hand (I used a PhatBoy mounted on a mic stand, it allowed me to tinker with the sounds and Larsen directly down without me). Side connections is simple, it comes in mono, it comes out in stereo or mono. The stereo and really means you can play with it, which is not true of all multi-effects and it's good. UTILIZATION Simple configuration in all, once before the logic of the machine. A really excellent feature is that you can chain effects in the order you want to put the reverb-like BEFORE the distortion to the true For mashed against the parameters are accessible only via a sub menu where value is adjusted with the jog wheel, not very user friendly.cysasdo.com/geektic/files/canon-eos-rebel-xsi-manual-portugues.pdf The manual is ben boss, what, it's 100 pages, it summarizes everything and you do not need a quarter of the information provided. SOUND QUALITY The distos are amazing for a digital multi. I who love grains serious drooling, I came out with interesting textures, particularly because of the possibility of chaining to the request that I mentioned above. Well, it obviously does not imitate your fat Mesa everything thoroughly with your good old DOD death metal before, but not for that either. The amp simulation seems to be a joke, but I would say the same for all simulations then should not rely too probably the point of super-strong GT5 are the bizarre effect: I used to death on reverse delay, flanger feedback and to make strange noises that would not be ashamed Accelera Deck. Really a great tool for those who like to mess with a mail-like guitar. OVERALL OPINION I got five years and I did not do the trick. I sold it because I had more room to put it and since I sold almost the price I had bought it, it's one of the best purchases I've made. I had plenty of multis low-end (with whom I was the same as the GT) and a host of pedals. The big big big highlight is the oddities that can leave the bug using the chaining and the strange effects that I mentioned. Well, I do not like bosses in general, since it's style to say this, it sounds cold and digital, blah (as if a POV 'pedal to 100 euros could give the lamp a grain engl). I can not repeat what I've seen more choices instead of putting it, but I'm so broke that I can with the counselor. Did you find this review helpful? yes no. I use it only on an amplified table (see stuff in my profile) and frankly it sonnnnnnnne, with a small scraper electric beginner.https://www.melodypods.com/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626edd511e4c7---bosch-pho-100-manual.pdf OVERALL OPINION I do connai a multi effect pedal forward, that of a friend (peavey) that is associated with the amp with a RJ45 cable, which impressed me, but with GT5 and the price I paid a small music store argus burgundy, I'm very happy, except perhaps my wife, who listens to me when I say, and of a sudden yesterday, we entered a world of music.. 1 people found this review helpful Did you find this review helpful? yes no See Product Specifications. For PC yes, but be careful because depending on the version of the GT-5 firmeware, communication with some publishers do not pass. To be complete, we can say that the dynamic range according to the manufacturer is 105dB or more (IHF-A). Quote: - Is this a rack or rack MODEL. Pass the stage of learning to bte he rvle trs effective in terms of programming. In contrast, pramplis are not what is softer or more convincing. However, the effects, for their part are plutt correct, efficient and enjoyable. Quote: - Which instruments do you use. AIM I have at least twice. Quote: - Have you tried many other models before acqurir. In the era, offering the most plthorique n'tait not in competition. But I had to test and also in Zoom Boss. Quote: - How do you report qualitprix. But I did not regrtt. Quote: - With the exprience, you do again this choice?. Yes, but my needs have changed. I'm working on a system Submitted by Rack and I sell my GT-5. But. It is only to replace it with its latest small ERRF, the magnificent GT-Pro 3 of 3 people found this review helpful Did you find this review helpful? yes no. There is also a section where you can choose between any of these effects (and yes only one, the problem comes first!) Harmonizer, flange, phase, sub equalizer, short delay, humanize, ring modulator, tremolo, acoustic guitar simulator, guitar synth. Also, there is a loop insertion FOR A distortion, but you can put what you want BECAUSE chain of effects is placed in the order desired. UTILIZATION Frankly I have been slow to understand everything, but because I am a lazy and dirty that it took six months before I open the record and come to me the holy revelation. Damn but it of course!. Basically you have to force a little to eat anything during the manual. 2 hours while a break. And we control the multi purpose. The manual is very clear. Boring but very clear. Editing sounds is easy. And general configuration that can impress a novice, is quickly extinguished. SOUND QUALITY The effects section has merit. We find the sound of the boss pedals. At least in terms of classic effects. When the effects crazy guitar synth as the same. Do not think having a synthesizer in buying this gt5. That said not much was said about the other effects that are mostly of high quality and flexible as desired. Maybe a bad note for the compressor but what effect has a multi compressor worthy of the name. As for the amp simulation. What about.? He took a shot of old I think.www.cxnjl.com/userfiles/files/canon-eos-rebel-xsi-manual-guide.pdf It is better to see what gt5 like a very good multi effects and go elsewhere with regard to the preamp and simulation hp. Not that bad to be away from, but we are still not in the presence of a quality that can offer a pod or better.I do not care about the amp simulation. OVERALL OPINION I use this gt5 for 4 years, it allowed me to tame all kinds of effects. The effects are almost all very good. To me the amp simulation and hp is now over. I would do certainly this choice elsewhere. But at the time!. Today I look rather for the pod but this is due to my personal evolution, I attach more importance to the quality of the sound effects as such. I recommend it to all those who already have an amp or a good simulator and who want to use tons of effects of quality. Many effects (feedback, compressor, simulators and speaker amplifiers, distos, chorus, flanger.Possibility to connect to the south of pc for transfers (in sense 2). Very practical to store a large number of rglages download on internet or CRER a backup presets without breaking the head. UTILIZATION Simple enough rgler (there are for each pRSET effects, and helps in the beginning). But the manual is clear trs, and is responsible for many of the effects of each dcrire rglage on his gnral. A good point! SOUND QUALITY My guitar is a Cort X2 (who said that the guitars sounded bad balls in 2000. The comfort of the game is certainly less than the guitars more expensive, but it is well dj trs), and I place in a rack amp ( Marshall 8008 ) and a Hiwatt 4x12 cabinet (SE4123). The amp simulations ragissent like real amps: turning down the volume knob, you get crunchy sounds wish (Hendrix, SRV.). But Fast Fashion distos of the most violent possible, even if the saturation trs trs modern savages are Submitted, but there are ways to approach it without flinching. The only weak point is that the sound with headphones trs fuzzy (but it is not intended for use headphones). The distos sound good, but I see myself all the time forced HP to enable the simulator, otherwise the sound quickly becomes dirty trs. I told him just adding a V-amp 2 for simulation models, and it is a duo from hell. A good place also for the chain of effects, where one can manipulate the order of desire in the effects loop. Once you know how to use, you can have the sound which rve. OVERALL OPINION I use it for 1 year dj and I test many pdaliers rcents ( Boss GT6, GNX3.) and it does not weaken. The Wha wha trsraliste has a grain, and only the type of distortions mtal have a quality of its limit. For nothing wrong against its clean.By using our services, you agree to our use of cookies. Looking forward to it though. Any opinions about these? As with most things guitar, it's more the player than the gear. I'd grab one of it the price was right. Have been pushing some buttons and downloaded the manual. Going to fire it up this evening. He's wanting ?50 for it. Looks like it could be great for gig use.I actually liked it better than the GT-6 and GT-8 that I had tried after a few years later. I only used the GT-5 for the effects, not the COSM modeling. Worked well at the time that it came out, like the late 90's. I never owned one coz it was expensive back then but I do remember being able to fiddle with one for a bit. Great tones. Can't complain about the analog dirt boxes built in. I never owned one coz it was expensive back then but I do remember being able to fiddle with one for a bit. Great tones. Can't complain about the analog dirt boxes built in.Looking forward to it though. Any opinions about these?Dirty amp models are not great, but as a stomp box simulater into an amp, it's great. Nicely built. A premium unit of its time. The jacks break easily, though. Nicely built. A premium unit of its time. The jacks break easily, though. You can put eq and a little comp for boost in front of the OD and eq after - you can really sculpt the sound. You can even use one of two custom OD's - kind of like designing your own OD. If you must use a preamp model, OD into a Twin model seems to work the best. If I recall correctly, the GT-3 and the GT-5 actually had analog overdrive stomps, and I think that's what made them sound so good for their time. I had a play with the gt5 last night. This is the first boss mfx I have really played with. I'm impressed with the assignment and control potential. The fact you can carry over control settings of effects to other patches will be great. You are able to freely assign switches for the manual mode. I can see why people are clamoring for some of these features on the zoom units. I just went direct and started to build a patch from scratch. Programming is a bit tedious but once you have it set up it would not be too hard to tweak things. The dial is a bit jumpy. I settled on the twin model to get going. I had a flick through the od settings. The blues drive is good. Didn't take long until I was into the custom drive section. I set everything flat and the mode to overdrive and found myself left with a really nice crunch drive. The slow gear effect is alright but sounds like it has some latency, maybe the original effect had that too. The delay is a straight up clean digital delay. Luckily it has direct and wet volume parameters. When I try this with an amp ( with a parallel fx loop) I am going to try and send this to the loop wet and add modulation to the repeats. It is possible to have 2 delays which is great. Reverbs for there type are gorgeous. The wah is rubbish but the auto wah has potential. The unit is very quiet, no wall wart. That's about as far as I have got, harmonizer section broke me. Back to the manual to be conquered later. Looking forward to trying it out with an amp next. Maybe a keeper for the live rig due to some of the control features. Could be a gt 100 in the future for me. The delay sounded a bit clunky and you have to tap 4 times for tempo. The pitch effects sounded pretty good. It's actually pretty great, there's a lot of info and things to try out. Take a look at it Link: Anyhow, I haven't figured out the complex programming yet but have been exploring its effects, particularly all the ones clustered at the 'Mod' button. Suppose I can flange it outboard. The Harmonist effect is really intriguing, with so many truly bizarre as well as subtle sounds available. I find I can configure it into an 80s style Trichorus. The amp sims pretty much suck but the drives are good (partially even more than just good) and very dynamic. The FX are of typically good Boss quality, just the pitch shifting blows. Even the loop is quite useable, just that you might need some galvanic isolation with some devices. All in all it could still be very useful. If it wasn't for the horrible interface. Sure, back then it was ok, but today it clearly shows its age. Anyhow, I haven't figured out the complex programming yet but have been exploring its effects, particularly all the ones clustered at the 'Mod' button. I find I can configure it into an 80s style Trichorus. That'd require at least one more internal ADDA circuit as you can move them around freely.
