It sounds pretty nice running direct to the PA. We put an ME50 after it and used some reverb and delay from that and it was very nice. I'm not sure what the amp models are but the one called Crunch is actually very versatile. There's a button you can push to give each model two sounds, I forget what it's called, but with that turned off, the Crunch model has some very warm, sweet cleans at lower gain settings. If you've got money to spare, you could always get the whole guitar workstation, but with a limited budget. The only thing to worry about are the knobs getting kicked. They seem to move pretty easily. If you don't know what tone you prefer, or if you just want to explore some other sounds, then this is a great little box to have.
