O.C 4.0 out of 5 stars Makes switching between channels very convenient for me when I am live on stage.Pros: - small profile, easy to carry. - works as expected. Cons: - it uses battery ( I hate anything battery powered for live situation). - the battery can not be easily changed on the fly as you will need to undo screws to get to it, although I am not Sure how long the battery lasts before you will need to change, but either way when it runs out I hope it's not on stage. Hope this helps someone make a decision. So maybe to state the obvious, on the 50 watt you could have one channel clean and the second channel with distortion. Or you could have the 100 watt with the first channel clean and the second channel distorted and the third channel clean with chorus or phaser and the fourth with t-wah or a brown sound. Its up to you, so you have more options with the 100 watt.No real problem, but it just means constantly having to pull the jacks out when not in use. When only used live at gigs this wouldn't be a problem, but for studio use when the keyboard and pedals are permanently set up it's a nuisance.http://www.accshop.nl/userfiles/boss-db-88-manual.xmlHowever, I used a Y Cable from line A and from Line B from the footswitch and a single stereo jack to the amp and it worked nicely. Now I am able to access four channels from my Katana-50 hands free. I am keeping this.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Heather 5.0 out of 5 stars I'm a multi-instrumentalist.https://congviendisan.vn/vi/bosch-integrated-freezer-manual In my primary band, I play keyboards and saxophones (along with other instruments). For this setup (see photo), I have a block of three FS-6s connected, for a total of six switches. The left three switches are used for sustain on the top, middle, and bottom keyboards. I also have two additional units which I use for my Roland guitar amp, more keyboard sustains, or whatever else I need at the time. There are several reasons I love these switches. Their extreme flexibility tops the list. Each of the two switches on a single pedal can be hooked up either singly with TS cables, or in tandem with one TRS cable. The switches on the back allow you to change the polarity of each switch, changing it from momentary to latching. Finally, the ability to chain them together is fantastic, and makes for a nice, clean setup. There are a couple of cons worth noting. One, they are a bit expensive. In my humble opinion, they are worth every penny, but they represent a healthy investment for something you drop on the floor and step on. Two, they do each require a 9v battery. The good news is, a fresh 9v lasts a really long time in them, especially if you remember to unplug them when not in use. I use rechargeables for all my gig gear, and recharge them before every show, so I can perform without worrying about batteries going out. Overall, these are solid little tools that fit a wide range of situations. You'll never be sorry to have one in your gig bag or studio. Why 3 stars? Because it runs on a 9V battery only. When installed on a pedalboard you have to unplug the output plug all the time otherwise the battery will run down. A real pain when the pedalboard is tightly populated. This pedal is NOT equipped with a 9V jack to run on a wall wart. You can use a 9V clip connector to 5.5mm barrel connector adapter but make sure the center of the barrel connector is negative (-).All the makers have different versions of the same switch.https://fufolia.com/images/boss-fs-5l-manual.pdfThen there's the Boss switch, which doesn't come with a pre-installed cable.I've already been using two of these switches for years, as a controller for an Alesis SR-16 drum machine. That took about 10 years of regular (more than weekly) use. Inside and out, Boss is the best such device out there. The case is thick, solid aluminum with a hard rubber base, and is basically bombproof. The pedal is firm and the switch action is QUIET.It's the best-designed, most durable and most reliable option out there for the price, and it will save you a lot of headaches in the long run.Used this initially on my Boss RC30 loop station because that device requires normally-closed switch for some bizarre reason. But since the pedal is configurable you can use it with pretty much any other device, which I do. Very flexible, useful footswitch.I had not used this or even seen this ever. It is way smaller than I imagined. I thought no battery means we need the power plugged in always. Nope, you don't need power if you need this to do only unlatched function. Input B can use TRS (tip, ring, sleeve) to control both foot switches and input A and B separately can do TS controlling. The foot print is the size of a regular effects pedal, it is compact and like half the size of the FS-6. I will be buying another one of these soon, if not two more. Have used it with a Boss GT-1000, and Boss Nextone amps. If you do not have power near by then the FS-6 would work. Otherwise this is great and comes with a 9 volt power split cable.Works perfectly. Also will work well with boss looper RC1 and RC3 so you don’t have to use a double tap to stop loops etc. I wanted the switch pedal to be as hassle free as possible so mains powered is best for me. A bit expensive but apparently they last many years.Sorry, we failed to record your vote.https://www.icodar.com/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626ec32dbe812---bosch-maxx-wfl-2450-user-manual.pdf Please try again This is all induced mains hum, so if you are planning on adding this on a daisy-chained or non-isolated power supply with other pedals, then don’t; it requires a fully isolated 9v supply to prevent potential contamination of the guitar signal. This is particularly evident if you are using a high gain amp channel.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again Robust build makes it ideal for life on the road. Also useable for different polarities.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again It's fine for switching channels but beware it doesn't run on batteries so you need a power supply. I've it tagged onto my pedalboard but to be honest, I'm finding my Blues Driver pedal still the go-to for crunch rather than the crunch channel of the Blues Cube Stage amp I have. Still, it's there just to give me a few other options.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again No real problem, but it just means constantly having to pull the jacks out when not in use. When only used live at gigs this wouldn't be a problem, but for studio use when the keyboard and pedals are permanently set up it's a nuisance.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again It takes up a small space on my pedal board and it extremely sturdy. I have it plugged into my power supply. You will need either aTRS cable or two mono cables to use it. I use a TRS cable as I only have one socket on the back of my amp. If your amp has 2 sockets to control different things you will need the 2 mono cables.Sorry, we failed to record your vote. However I needed the same type of switch for switching the FX on the PA on and off, but this time with a indicator light to show if its on. I always look at the Thomann web first, as its so easy to find products quickly, and its the cheapest. There are hundreds to choose from, but when I saw the Boss I was over the moon, knowing that it was a strong steel case and well built. The red light indicator is bright enough to see when on stage in the dark, but not to bright. There's a small switch at the front to change the switching phase around. Having the light on when the FX is on works better for me.http://www.predoisiasociatii.ro/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/1626ec33f003f7---bosch-maxx-wfo-2063-manual.pdf Two batteries inside with easy access, and already in place. They slide together perfectly, do the job very well. I'm an organ player and use the Boss for rotary control. That means it receives some heavy stomping at times, but it just works. and works. and works. The battery is for the diode only, the pedal works fine without it, should it ever run out (it hasn't for two years). And switching polarity is a breeze. A small red LED lights up when you have it either on or off, which can be set with yet another small switch on the rear. Perfect if you want to save battery, depending on which mode you are planning to have it in for the most part. Carcass to the air very solid but I think we should still be careful not to hit too hard on it at the time of excitation. What I love about this little pedal is that it can be connected to another FS-5U or FS-5L, it is anti slip The downside is that unlike her little sister the FS-5U it works with batteries and without PSU and that's not so good for the planet. Well of course because of the limited use we can have, the stack does not change every day. Did you find this review helpful? yes no. It’s unapologetically long and detailed in the hope it will help others with the same needs. I got this to use as external controllers for the rc300 loopstation. The rc300 requires external switches with momentary non latching compatibility, or always closed options.mostly. The rc300 has the capacity to assign specific and customisable tasks to external foot switches and expression pedals, and these can be specified and saved to each individual memory preset. In other words, for one song, I might want my foot switch to turn my mic input on or off. The result of so much customisability at the loopstation end of things is that a foot switch has to do an awful lot of work. Unless I missed something, I know of no other unit that provides all the features of the fs6 in one place, and I looked. Pushing ?60, though, this is not cheap for what is ultimately just a foot switch. However, I came to the conclusion that I had to go for it over all the competition for the following reasons. One of the biggest deciding factors was that I couldn’t find another non-latching always closed unit with LEDs. This may sound like a minor point, but given the complexity of my live rig, I need to be able to see at a glance if my settings are on or off. Sounds simple, but getting it wrong could be disastrous in a live siltation. If you only need a toggle for an amp channel, or your rig only has a couple of stompers on it, another option may be fine. For me it’s a deal breaker. The trade-off for having LEDs is that the fs6 is larger than some other options. Obviously, this means pedal board space, which for me is always a consideration. However, this brings me to the first of my two grumbles- It’s battery only. Yep, no 9volt input. I have tested a work around by hooking up a battery adaptor (widely available for a few pounds) to my pedal board power supply, and it works fine, but it means I would have to leave the battery cover off. For now I’m using a Duracell battery, and it’s lasted a good 20 hours and still going strong, but do remember that it will drain power when the connector jack is in. My only other slight grumble is the battery panel is a bit fiddly. Going back to the dimensions of the unit-it’s not that big (think the width of two standard boss stompboxes), and I’m not sure how it could be a lot smaller- it’s important to remember that the fs6 is actually two independent foot switches in one housing. Each side can be set to be latching or non-latching- it really couldn’t be more versatile. The other thing you need to be aware of is what connecting cables you will need. You can either use two jack to jack mono’s, or one jack to jack stereo. Again, the point is that you have a lot of options and your personal set-up will determine what you need. So, am I glad I bought it? Yes. It is a lot of money, but after spending some time with it, I’m happy that that extra outlay has given me the ability to make the most of the rc300’s external controller features. I use my loopstation as the heart of my live setup and I want to wring every last drop of performance out of it- more casual users may get by on less feature-heavy kit. On balance, and putting asside the grumbles about power, I’m very happy with it, and feel that I made the right choice.Gracias por su comentario. Lo sentimos, no hemos podido registrar tu voto. Depending on the pedal you connect it to you can control any parameter of an effect. So if it was a delay it would be the delay time or the effect level and blend that in. With the Boss GT-001 your able to assign multiple effects together so you could have the delay and the direct mix of an overdrive pedal come in with each effect coming in at different levels. The only issue I had was not with the pedal but setting up the pedal with the Boss GT-001. There are so many options it took a little while to work out how to set the pedal to control the effect or effects I wanted in the way that i wanted. With a little playing around its quite easy to work out.Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo Roland only make high quality products and they always stand the test of time. Plug the EV-5 straight into a Mini Moog Voyager EB filter control in jack in and your hands free. Fantastic control and there's also an unobtrusive variable range rotary control neatly tucked away on the pedal itself which governs the variable range. Asking this pedal to do the same thing on another synth might mean some digging around. On the Roland JP50 (with out any tweaking) the pedal seems to control both volume and 'Super Natural' sounds resonance at the same time, but if you need it to control just the VCF on all parameters and free up your hands, then I found this on the Roland site. First, you need to connect the EV-5 to one of the foot pedal inputs on the back panel (we will use CTRL1), and assign that input (CTRL1) to a specific MIDI message in the System settings (we will set the pedal to transmit CC06 Data Entry). Press EXIT twice to return to the main screen. Press F1 (EDIT). Press F2 (LIVE SET). Press F3 (EFFECT). Press F1 (MFX1), F2 (MFX2, F3 (MFX3, or F4 (MFX4) to select the MFX you will be using - this is determined by the routing and Layer you are using for this specific effect in your Live Set. Seems a trifle fiddly, I admit, but the Roland JP50 is a complex Synthesizer and I'd definitely works. I've just ordered another EV-5. It just seems absolutely necessary to keep both hands playing when expressing via the VCF and this pedal does just that. Great value pedal.Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo Unlike some, this can do both, independently, so it'll be in the useful bits box if I decide to upgrade kit it will still be compatible. It is battery powered - as far as I can tell that is only really to operate the lights and the battery will last for ages. It's a bit annoying, as I'd prefer to be able to switch off my pedal setup with a single plug.Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo This is all induced mains hum, so if you are planning on adding this on a daisy-chained or non-isolated power supply with other pedals, then don’t; it requires a fully isolated 9v supply to prevent potential contamination of the guitar signal. I could have bought a single switch pedal just to do 'stop and start' but it will also do switching and selections on other Boss gear that I use. Very pleased with the item.Gracias por su comentario. Vuelva a intentarlo It's silent in operation so it works for quiet rehearsals and performances. I like the fact it can switch between latch and non-latch as it gives me options with my BeatBuddy drum machine. I would haved liked the option to have a 9v power supply rather than batteries but the batteries seem to last a good while and its less cable etc.Gracias por su comentario.
