I swapped a modern dual op-amp in place of the original in-line units. I'm just curious, I thought the SDD had plenty of boost in itselfI believe this book was referring to POPMART. I think its just a tool he has always used when needing a boost, wouldnt suprise me though if he has always used it on Pride solo but I dont think he uses it for things like Bullet intro these days etc whcih is more mellow etc. With Edges settings I believe mine is pretty loud in my rig and I have to lower it if used with other pedals - full whack my signal become very LOUD. For those playing on amps, this pedal pushes the sound to the front of the amp beautifully. For those recording through and interface or DI, this pedal is a must for tone control and overall boosting. I play with single coils a lot and this really helps enhance the tone. The nice thing is that if you’ve already dialed in your EQ settings you can turn the pedal into just a pre-amp by setting it to the “No EQ” setting. I will most likely use this pedal all the time, for every song.
