Install was time consuming due to the speakers are way bigger than the stock speakers which I knew I was going to have to do some modification. I had ordered a 1” thick cutting board to make the extra 1” depth space needed in the speaker housing for these to fit. The speaker holes did not match the mounting holes of the speaker housing which was fine since I added the spacer and just screwed the speakers to the spacer after I mounted the spacers to the speaker housing. Love that they are marine speakers so they should stand to the elements. For the power source I just spliced the power in with the cigarette port wiring in the tour pack. Overall I’m very satisfied with the purchase and quality of these speakers.So when you go RV'ING you don't need excellent sound but these were very good for the money. When things go wrong you find out how good a company is. I did have an issue with one speaker and they set me out a new pair right away. Vuelva a intentarlo I have a Wetsound equalizer controlling the amp and I am only about to get one channel to work. I've troubleshot everything isolating it to channel 1 as not working. From what I have read, I do have all the settings correct. Has anyone else had problems with only getting output from one channel or did I just get a bad amp?Gracias por su comentario. It does need to breath due to its watertight design. I would not suggest mounting it in an enclosed location. It does have a very substantial solid aluminum case with integral heat sinks that will get warm with extended runs of higher volume. The amp sounds good, looks good, and most important to me is how well it is protected from water. Great job Boss Audio. The volume thing don't seem to make any difference at all quality or volume wise but it makes a neat blue light on the floorboard. Vuelva a intentarlo Outdoor amplifiers that run on 120V is an unmet need, I can't believe there are no products in this category. And to run a marine amp there are no outdoor 12V power supplies with greater than 5 amps output. You can run speaker wire through the exterior wall but then you will need a wireless technology to connect your smartphone to the receiver. So I put a 25 amp switching power supply on an interior wall and ran 8 gauge wire through the wall to the amp. A wireless 120V switch turns on the power supply when needed.
