With the extreme price reduction of this item, I was expecting it to be somewhat like that, but it wasn't. The interface is. interesting, to say the least. Their usage of space with the touchscreen is wasteful, especially with the cd player. You have to touch the screen just to get the controls up, otherwise there is a very bland background with their logo. The screen isn't a good one either, the sensitivity is pretty low, I find myself punching it sometimes to get something to work. I also can't get the usb port to work either, it's weird. However, the radio is pretty good with the autoscan and presets, and the dvd player works well. Would be nice if the clock was in more places. Or, maybe I'm just mad because I lost the remote before I had a chance to get the dang thing installed.:( If you want a dvd player in your car, this is good. If you want a kickin system in your car, this is bad. Price fits it well.I have it in my maxima and without the super bass on its hella a loud shakes my side and rearview mirrors. Not too good in direct sun light but then again name one DVD player or TV that is. If you have sub woofers I would say this is even more of a waste of time and money for you. I had a cheaper pyle radio that the screen didnt even work on it in there before but atleast on that the sound quality was better. Dont be like me and ignore all the bad reviews on here because this seems like a great deal. Also, I got a really, really excellent price on this receiver from Amazon, much lower than anywhere else. I bench tested the deck first, before installing it in my van and was very pleased, before and after. I did notice the winding sound in the mechanism when you first turn it on, which doesn't bother me. I think of it as running through it's checks and balances. I quickly goes away after a few seconds. Compared to other receivers I have in my other vehicles, by this this my best deck. And, for the price, it out performs much more expensive systems.Please try again later. Please try again later.
