When back focusing vari-focus lenses, adjust to obtain a sharp picture in both wide-angle and tele positions for both far and near focus. When back focusing zoom lenses, ensure the object of interest remains in focus throughout the entire zoom range of the lens. To adjust back focus: 1. Open the slide door at the side of the camera 2. Lock the back focus locking button. 13 EN 13 Mounting the camera The camera can be mounted from the top or bottom. The bottom mounting is isolated from ground. With outdoor scenes, a DC-iris lens is recommended. However, advanced set-up options are available for getting the best results from the camera under special circumstances. There are two main menus; a Mode menu and an Installer menu. The camera has three pre-programmed operating modes that can be selected in the Mode menu. These modes are pre-programmed by default but you can adjust them according to your preferences. The Mode menu allows you to select and set-up the picture enhancement functions for each mode. If you are not happy with your changes, you can always recall the default values for the mode. The camera also has an Installer menu in which the installation settings can be set. The Mode and Installer menus have functions that can be selected directly or submenus for more detailed set-up. Accessing and navigating menus Five keys, located behind the side panel, are used for navigating through the various menus. Bosch Bosch The main menu appears on the OSD. Selects the maximum value the gain can have during AGC operation. FIXGAIN 0, 1, Available in FIXED gain operation only. Selects the gain setting. NIGHTSENSE EXIT OFF, FORCED, AUTO Nightsense extends the low-light performance of the camera. In AUTO mode, the camera automatically inches to monochrome in low-light conditions. In FORCED mode, the camera remains in highsensitivity monochrome operation. Return to the ALC menu 20 EN 20 Note If SENS UP or NIGHTSENSE is active, some noise or spots may appear in the picture. This is normal camera behavior. SENS UP may cause some motion blur on moving objects. If GAIN is set to FIXED, NIGHTSENSE will not become active. If NIGHTSENSE is active, all color related menu items are disabled and cannot be accessed. Return to MODE menu ATW: Auto tracking white balance allows the camera to constantly adjust for optimal color reproduction. AWB HOLD: Puts the ATW on hold and saves the color settings. In MANUAL mode the Red, Green and Blue gain can be manually set to a desired position WB SPEED Slow, Medium, Fast Adjust the speed of the white balance control loop. RED gain ATW mode and AWB hold mode: adjusts the Red gain to optimize the white point. 21 EN 21 BLUE gain ATW mode and AWB hold mode: adjusts the B gain to optimize around the white point. AREA Select submenu Select to access the Back Light Compensation area menu (see selecting an area). Voor buitenopnamen wordt een DC-irislens aanbevolen. Er zijn echter ook geavanceerde instellingsopties beschikbaar om onder speciale omstandigheden het beste uit de camera halen. Er zijn twee hoofdmenu's: het Mode-menu en het Installatie-menu. De camera heeft drie voorgeprogrammeerde bedieningsstanden die in het Mode-menu kunnen worden geselecteerd. Deze bedieningsstanden zijn standaard voorgeprogrammeerd, maar u kunt ze ook aan uw eigen voorkeuren aanpassen. In het Mode-menu kunt u voor elke bedieningsstand de beeldverbeteringsfuncties selecteren en instellen. Als u niet tevreden bent over de door u gemaakte instellingen, kunt u de standaardinstellingen voor de desbetreffende bedieningsstand altijd weer terughalen. De camera beschikt ook over een Installatie-menu waarin u instellingen voor de installatie kunt invoeren. De Mode- en Installatie-menu's bieden functies die rechtstreeks kunnen worden geselecteerd of via submenu's voor meer gedetailleerde instellingen. De menu's openen en de opties bekijken Met behulp van de vijf toetsen die zich achter het zijpaneel bevinden, kunt u door de verschillende menu's navigeren. Gebruik de pijltoetsen om door het menu te navigeren. Als de Bilinx -communicatiekoppeling actief is, zijn de toetsen op de camera uitgeschakeld. Kies ON om de tegenlichtcompensatie (BLC - Back Light Compensation) in te schakelen. Toegang tot het BLC-menu. Kies SIL (silent - stil) of OSD (monitoralarm geneert een melding op het OSD) om de videobewegingsdetectie (VMD - Video Motion Detection) in te schakelen. Toegang tot het VMD-menu. Een naam voor de gekozen bedieningsstand die u kunt wijzigen. DEFAULTS Kies submenu. Hiermee zet u alle instellingen voor de geselecteerde bedieningsstand terug naar de fabrieksinstellingen.
