But if the display shows 17 degs then theres a fault on this. As this is frost free the fridge gets its cooling from the freezer section so the fan inside the freezer blows the cold air into the fridge section. Now what you may find here is the evaporator inside the freezer will be blocked with ice so it stops the air flow. What you can try is a total defrost of the freezer for 24 hours and keep the door open. Then retry the appliance and see how it goes from there. Then keep an eye on it. But if it does it again then there may be a fault on the defrost side of the freezer so the evaporator isnt defrosting so you get this problem.
