Make sure the power cord is connected properly and a circuit breaker did not trip. After that, if its water line was not flushed before installation, it might have air bubbles inside that keeps the water from flowing through the hose with the right amount of pressure. Disconnect the water supply line from the dishwasher and flush 2 gallons of water through it before reinstalling the hose. If that fails, troubleshoot your Bosch dishwasher filling problem by process of elimination. Cycle Interruption A Bosch dishwasher dues not fill with water if the previous cycle was interrupted. If it was turned off for any reason and mistakenly left off, the dishwasher cannot fill with water, even though the unit comes on. Look for a kink in the water supply line. If you find one, shut off the water valve, and remove the hose and kinks. Reattach the water supply hose and turn on the valve. Hose Filter Most Bosch dishwashers contain a small filter inside the hose end to prevent sediment from your water supply getting inside the dishwasher. With the water supply hose disconnected, remove the filter from inside the hose, clean it thoroughly to remove any iron buildup or sediment, and replace. Reinstall the hose line and reopen the water supply valve. Water Pressure Verify you have enough water pressure to run the dishwasher. Grab a 1 gallon container and turn the faucet on to fill it. If you have enough water pressure to run the dishwasher, the container should fill up within 30 seconds. If it takes longer to fill a gallon container, you might not have enough pressure in your water delivery system to effectively use the dishwasher. Pooling Water The dishwasher does not fill for a new cycle when it has not drained from the last. If you open your dishwasher to find a pool of water inside, locate the large-object trap in the center bottom of the dishwasher. Remove the bottom tray to access the large-object trap. Turn the top of the large-object trap counterclockwise one-quarter turn and lift it out. Thoroughly clean its mesh filter. Remove any large objects such as toothpicks, bones, broken glass or food debris from the filter area. Clean the large mesh screen that surrounds the large-object trap before reinstalling everything in reverse of removal. Close the door to see if the dishwasher drains. If it does, you are free to start the next cycle. Water Inlet Valve Inside the bottom front of the dishwasher behind the kick panel, there is a water inlet valve that operates via electricity. Remove the Bosch power cord from the outlet or shut off power to the unit at the circuit breaker. Remove the kick panel by unscrewing the two screws on either side. Detach the screws that hold the front door panel in place from inside the dishwasher; pull the door panel down and set it aside. Close the door to access the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve has two wires that connect it to the circuitry of the unit. Check to ensure they are firmly attached. Also examine the valve for damage or leaks. If it is damaged, buy the part using the right model number for your dishwasher and replace it; otherwise, contact an appliance repair technician to do it for you. From last week it does not drain water properly. I have removed and cleaned the filters and spray arms. I have unscrewed the plastic plate covering the drain pump and checked that the pump impellors are unobstructed and that they move okay and I have also removed the black non return flap, cleaned it and checked it is okay but it still wont drain. I suspect the drain pipe itself is blocked within the body of the machine as it is clear through the hose and at the sink trap and beyond. There are no kinks in the drain hose either. The gap behind is very narrow so I am a bit hesitant to remove the plate in case I damage the joint box or cant put it back together. I am fairly convinced the drain pipe is clogged as a lot of pasta went in the last wash before it stopped draining. If you say its okay to remove the galvanised plate I will carry on. Is there a way of flusing through the hose from the outside of the machine. Verified Hiya, The side panels come off pretty easy on this machine. The top is the hardest part to get off.. Look on the underside of the top, at the rear. You should see 2 clips and 2 locating lugs. Press the clips up and slide the top rearward (you'll need to give the front of the top a thump to get it moving).. Once off, open the door and take out the 2 Torx screws down the side (front). Unclip the panel at the rear and pull it out sideways and lift it out.. Take off the left side panel (viewed from the front).. It's only the top and metal side panel that is coming off, the plastic base will be untouched.. Once off, you'll see the large tank on the side of the machine. This may be blocking up.. In your opening post you said it's not fully draining. How much water remains. When you checked the pump impellor, did you turn it manually to ensure it's free to turn?. I did as you said to remove the top and left side and found the blockage, as expected, in the drain pipe leading from the pump to the plastic chamber. So i pulled the drain end out of the plastic, rodded it with a flexible wire rod (loads of grease and pasta had blocked it solid).
