After trying several different products (including those awful little squares that you have to cut yourself), we were simply not satisfied with the stove liners that were available for purchase. After months of not finding the stove top protector that we were hoping for (and a LOT of research) we decided to create our own product that would solve the problem that we knew that millions of families deal with every day. That's exactly what we did when we rolled out our new stove top solution. We think that our product is really great, and we know you will too. We want to be able to share our stove protectors with everyone - if you don't see your stove's brand or model listed, please don't hesitate to message us.In order to navigate out of this carousel please use your heading shortcut key to navigate to the next or previous heading. CEEmom 4.0 out of 5 stars When I installed my cooktop, I could not find a custom-cut cover for it. Therefore, I ordered five stainless-steel-colored, fiberglass squares and my husband cut them to fit. There were small holes in the middle of each square, but he had to cut them to fit my stove. He also trimmed some of the edges. I had submitted a request for a cover for my specific Bosch natural gas cooktop so I was excited when I received an email stating that a custom StoveGuard was now available. Although I could buy it immediately on a web-site, I waited a few days for it to show up in the Amazon Marketplace. I gave it to my husband as a birthday gift (because he cleans the stove). He decided to return it because the holes are much larger than the holes he cut in our home-made cover. They might let a spill over flow under the mat. Any pan on a burner would more than cover these holes, though. Also the new StoveGuard didn't flow as high up the sidewalls as our homemade cover. However, the new cover provided much broader protection around the center burner. The new cover is black, not stainless-steel-colored, and it was folded in the box so it didn't lay flat on the stove. The instructions say to put it in an oven at 450F for 10 minutes before placing it on the stove and the wrinkles will flatten out, but my husband didn't see the instructions. If he had not already invested the time to make a homemade stove guard, and had he followed the instructions to remove the folds, he probably would not have returned the StoveGuard.I definitely ordered the correct size, but it does not fit around the burners snugly. So, if something were to spill over, it would leak down in between. The edges of the entire product, as well as the cut outs have strings where it was cut and they cannot be trimmed properly. The material also scratches and shows all smudges. Great idea, but definitely DOES NOT deliver. I sent the product back for a refund and 2 weeks later, I still do not have a refund. Not happy that I wasted my time and money! That is until it needed to be cleaned. Had to wash it several times to remove the grease from it and when dried it sheer streaks and scratches all over it. I would not recommend this product to anyone and I definitely would not purchase it again.I only have two criticisms: 1) The price point seems high for what the product is.Relatively minor stuff overall. The piece is the right size but I do not believe they took the two ridges that run from front to back into account. The stove guard does not lay flat because of that. I did a few test runs and it seems to hold up to the burners on high so far and ultimately I believe it will aid in the cleaning of the stove top. Wish it laid completely flat though.
