Some things are brand new, pistons, rods, valves, upgraded turbos. Others look new and reconditioned head and most I haven't even pulled out of the boxes I have. Ive had a Ke20 with a turbo 3tc in it since i was a younger kid, when swapping to EFI setup the stock T series Alternator was not good enough to run every thing.I ended up with a 80Amp Alternator from a Nissan pulsar N15 with a SR20de. How was it done? From what i can see ive used the OEM alternator mount.Used the OEM T series adjuster braket. Then swapped to the V belt pulley (Nissian unit ran multi rib).Then upgrade your wiring to sute. The setup works mint, second hand the alternators cost next to nothing at the time and its a bit more compact and better looking than the old Bosch units. On a side note, looking at my alternator book it would seem that the a Ka24 alternator from a Navara might be a better option pending the mounting setup to pulley offset. Hope this of some help.
