In any way can't Lastmanuals be held responsible if the document you are looking for is not available, incomplete, in a different language than yours, or if the model or language do not match the description. Lastmanuals, for instance, does not offer a translation service. It was purchased new by us and never used. Other than that, it is excellent with no marks, scuffs or scratches. It comes with the original manual. We never used the projector or the LCD panel. This is so if you are in the middle of a presentation and the first one burns out, you can switch to the second lamp and keep going. It comes with only one lamp installed (this is how 3M sold this unit) with the other lamp socket empty. The post assembly that holds the projection head aloft is hinged against the body of the unit, and a loosening turn of a knob swings it into place. Simple to use, one switch turns the projector on and off, and a separate control panel allows you to change the lamp to high or low intensity. The lamp bulb is easily changed, and the power cord can be neatly wrapped around twin brackets at the bottom front. It is primarily useful for its easy troubleshooting should any problems arise, such things as a faulty bulb or projecting onto a screen that is not perpendicular to the projected image. This 3M model is ideal for classrooms, business meetings, and large presentations of any sort. You design your product to use a TMS320C25 DSP. Then you make your circuit board and install a 68pin PLCC socket where the DSP is suppose to go. Now you connect the serial communications cable to your computer and run a communications program to communicate to the XDS22. Then you can download you DSP software from the computer to the XDS22, where the software will execute just like it was an actual C25 part.but with the added benefits of being able to step-thru the code, use break points and be able to monitor timing. This allows you to fully debug and optimize your DSP software. We are the original purchaser of this equipment and obtained it directly from Texas Instruments. We opened up the unit and it is like new clean with the internal filters showing absolutely no dust or dirt. It has always been well cared for as it was an expensive piece of equipment. We also have some TMS320C25FNL devices in stock that we can sell in addition to this unit. The TMS320C25 is not the latest device from TI, but it is still a very good device and still available. In circuit emulators such as this that can plug into a socket and behave like the device while providing simulation, trace, step-by-step code execution, breakpoints, full register read back, etc. Bright, Economical, Reliable. They were widely used in education and business before the advent of video projectors. However some differences are necessitated by the much larger size of the transparencies used (generally the size of a printed page), and the requirement that the transparency be placed face up (and readable to the presenter). For the latter purpose, the projector includes a mirror just before or after the focusing lens to fold the optical system toward the horizontal. That mirror also accomplishes a reversal of the image in order that the image projected onto the screen corresponds to that of the slide as seen by the presenter looking down at it, rather than a mirror image thereof. Therefore, the transparency is placed face up (toward the mirror and focusing lens), in contrast with a 35mm slide projector or film projector (which lack such a mirror) where the slide's image is non-reversed on the side opposite the focusing lens.In order to provide sufficient light on the screen, a high intensity bulb is used which often requires fan cooling. This permits a range of projection distances.Increasing the projection distance also means that the same amount of light is spread over a larger screen, resulting in a dimmer image. With a change in the projection distance, the focusing must be readjusted for a sharp image. However, the condensing optics (Fresnel lens) is optimized for one particular vertical position of the lens, corresponding to one projection distance. Therefore, when it is focused for a greatly different projection distance, part of the light cone projected by the Fresnel lens towards the focusing lens misses that lens. This has the greatest effect towards the outer edges of the projected image, so that one typically sees either blue or brown fringing at the edge of the screen when the focus is towards an extreme. Using the projector near its recommended projection distance allows a focusing position where this is avoided and the intensity across the screen is approximately uniform. However, because the lamp was suspended above and outside the reflector, a large amount of light was cast to the sides inside the projector body that was wasted, thus requiring a higher power lamp for sufficient screen illumination. More modern overhead projectors use an integrated lamp and conical reflector assembly, allowing the lamp to be located deep within the reflector and sending a greater portion of its light towards the Fresnel lens; this permits using a lower power lamp for the same screen illumination. If one lamp fails during a presentation the presenter can merely move a lever to slide the spare into position and continue with the presentation, without needing to open the projection unit or waiting for the failed bulb to cool before replacing it.The steganographic mirror possibly came closest to how the overhead projector was used.Overhead projectors were introduced into U.S. military training during World War II.Appeldorn developed a process for the projection of transparent sheets that led to 3M’s first marketable transparency film. The Strategic Air Command base in Omaha was one of the first big clients, using circa 20,000 sheets per month. 3M then decided to develop their own overhead projector instead of the one they had been selling until then, which was produced by an outside manufacturer. It took several prototypes before a cost-effective, small and foldable version could be presented on January 15, 1962.Teaching materials can be pre-printed on plastic sheets, upon which the educator can directly write using a non-permanent, washable color marking pen. This saves time, since the transparency can be pre-printed and used repetitively, rather than having materials written manually before each class. The enlarging features of the projector allow the educator to write in a comfortable small script in a natural writing position rather than writing in an overly large script on a blackboard and having to constantly hold their arm out in midair to write on the blackboard.Following the class period, the transparencies are easily restored to their original unused state by washing off with soap and water.A liquid-crystal panel mounted in a plastic frame was placed on top of the overhead projector and connected to the video output of the computer, often splitting off the normal monitor output. A cooling fan in the frame of the LCD panel would blow cooling air across the LCD to prevent overheating that would fog the image. The displays were never particularly fast to refresh or update, resulting in the smearing of fast-moving images, but it was acceptable when nothing else was available.By removing the casing and backlight assembly of a common LCD monitor, one can use the exposed LCD screen in conjunction with the overhead projector to project the contents of the LCD screen to the wall at a much lower cost than with standard LCD projectors. Please improve it by verifying the claims made and adding inline citations. Statements consisting only of original research should be removed. ( October 2017 ) ( Learn how and when to remove this template message ). Such presentations can also include animations, interactive components, or even video clips, with ease of paging between slides. The relatively expensive printing or photocopying of color transparencies is eliminated. While an overhead can display static images fairly well, it performs poorly at displaying moving images. The LCD video display panels that were once used as an add-on to an overhead projector have become obsolete, with that combination of display technology and projection optics now optimally integrated into a modern video projector.ABC-CLIO, Libraries Unlimited.PHI Learning. p. 225. The lamp and temperature warning lights are both flashing red, indicating a malfunction. Can you give me a quotation. I have had it out of the ceiling and there is no model number or branding on it. It has been running off a third party controller which still appears to be working so I presume the screen itself is at fault. Fitted a new bulb, but just cycles round, shutting down before lamp comes on. Red light on lamp button. Please can you give an estimate of repair cost before I go ahead with the booking.I have power issue in my Epson. I've changed lamp for new one and still my projector is not starting. If urgency necessitates higher cost then would rather wait but have no TV. Please do not replace lamp unless 100 necessary as has only just been replaced by brand new one and another is en route. I've recently purchased a second hand Optoma HD151X and was wondering how much it would cost to fix a problem with it. It seems to have dust and debris inside the light path. This is visible when the projector is turned on with no signal and putting the focus wheel at one extreme brings the debris into sharp focus. With an input via HDMI the marks are still apparent, but less so. When the image is focussed, the debris marks become more indistinct, but they are definitely still there. On a pitch black screen, the debris marks become white dots. Occasionally the machine emits a high pitched noise. This is not too loud, but may be indicative of another issue. Let us know if you would be interested in getting detailed proposal. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Also the wireless HD is intermittent. I need info first. Please advise me of your charges. Fixed price? Do you require payment up front or will you advise me of repair cost after you check the item and I can then refuse ( pay postage to return). Red light I think one of the fans requires replacing. Please advise us if you can assess and repair it. The other makes and models I will send to you after you make contact. Could you please confirm if you think it is fixable and how much -approximately- would cost. I could deliver the projector to a London location if that makes it cheaper. Could you please confirm if you think you could fix it and an estimate how much would it cost. I think it’s the bulb that’s gone - when it broke there was a burning smell and total loss of picture. This is not urgent - so happy to wait. Could you give me an estimate of cost. I had an issue a few days ago like this but I'd left the room so I didn't get the message and it switched off. I swapped out the bulb thinking it was that and obviously it's a fan issue. Is this something you can repair. I wonder if this can be fixed. Three vertical yellow lines and one blue vertical line appears on the screen. It started off with one yellow line and the other lines have recently appeared. I have also noticed a faint horizontal black line. Could you please give me a repair quote. Sometimes when booting up the screen would flicker until the colours stabilised. Now it turns on and they do not such that it continues to flicker. The colour wheel was also replaced 13 months ago. The unit is about 2.5 years old and purchased in the US. Sometimes on start up it would flicker until the colours stabilised to the correct ones. Now it boots up and does not stabilise. I assume it needs to have a new lamp put in. About 13 months ago the colour wheel was replaced. The unit is about 3.5 years old and was purchased in the US. Please include in the reply and estimate for total repair cost and estimated duration. This has resulted in a cloudy picture being produced. I think I need to have it thoroughly cleaned throughout. Is this a service you provide. If so what are you lead times and costs. Fans are loud which makes me think they might be worn.If so can you give me an idea of cost to repair.
